Lololol. I’m dying just from coming to Japan. Like, seriously, I’ve been sick everyday (but still seeing beautiful things so worth it!) My mum is desperate to see Hanyu live but she’s not so great at travelling, either. She seems really keen to suffer for it, though, so who knows!

Aww... at least your mum might be with you! I hope you feel better through the beauty of Japan though ; o ; I've only ever seen one other sporting event live (Round 4 at Aus Open with Federer) and I shelled out probably $200+ for that too, but I've never ever regretted it so I'm hoping my first FS comp will be the same ( :

Practice seats are just as assigned as the event tickets. But nobody's gonna mind if you sit closer to the ice rink during, oh, probably at least 75 % of the Practices. 

Except when it's Men's SP and FS practice, obviously, and Hanyu is in the group. Expect people to get very catty and kick you out of their (assigned) seats if you're sitting in their spot. 

I love having assigned seats for Practices. It's soooo nice having a seat all day, and just being able to turn up in the morning when you really want to see some skaters instead of at 6 am. I can do 6 am once, but that's my max, because these are Long Days, if you go to all events, chances are you won't see your bed before midnight, and then 6 am next morning at the venue is... not fun.

Fair enough, must accept my fate to be relegated to my seat and hope I may be able to sneak down to stand in the aisle at some point   Yeah, I admire anyone going to all events... that is a serious serious commitment in the cold

I'm a bit surprised some of you had trouble with tickets... or maybe it's just because I went straight for the most in front tickets I could see ^_^; Got row 2 for men's short, free, gala and practices, on the short sides (long sides tickets were further up and I wanted to be close to the ice...). All of them are A28 (short, free, gala), A30 for a practice and just one is B13 for the other practice. Even managed the same seat for short and free. I'll have to go back to that drawing and see what I'll be dying of come March... Also... must buy Poohs and flowers... >.< And maybe a pair of those opera glasses...

And out of curiosity, I looked up the official website for Milan 2018..."As well as other types of packages, “Single Event” tickets and tickets for the training sessions open to the public will also go on sale soon."   Still the same old message...I'm so glad for the planet or I would have missed this...

 

And the cheapest tickets for Men and Ladies free are all gone, a lot less seats were available now compared to earlier...despite the Olympic season, people are still pretty crazy!

Okay, I’m back from Real Life Stuff(tm) and a very traumatic time of Not Being Able To Reach The Planet when the tickets went online to say: I have tickets too! For A30 and practices and I even bought plane tickets on Saturday, OMG I’M ACTUALLY GOING!!! I am so looking forward to seeing you all!  And hopefully Yuzu.

I still have 10 pto days to use, after I took 7 off for ACI...but my team might freak out, and I might need to work at midnight if I go....
