TallyT
This video about 15-year-old Yuzu came up on my youtube page, not sure if it's been posted before. Such an adorable kiddie (how flustered he gets at the compliments!), but I couldn't help thinking - nine years ago? He does NOT look 9 years older now!!! Link to comment
SparkleSalad
This video was uploaded years ago but just came up in my recommendations and the quality is so high! I saw sparkles I’ve never seen before! Yuzu and Dai @ NHK 2012 Link to comment
Pammi
Rousing stuff!! "Don't you underestimate me..." Link to comment
SitTwizzle
I think this interpretation of Final Time Traveller, at New Year on Ice Osaka (16/1/16), was not here yet? Link to comment
SitTwizzle
Yuzuru Hanyu's single jumps (of course, there's a good deal of Pyeong-Chang practice) : His quadruple toeloops last season (including those in combination) : And a Youtube channel with a good deal of interviews in Japanese (I tried one, the automatic translations were really weird) : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFdXRwKf9IN5xYAxKVExwwQ/videos Link to comment
SitTwizzle
SitTwizzle illustrated (short video). No name is given but some may recognise a skater they know. There are other videos on this channel, showing other movements, plus videos of his programs, some with English and Vietnamese subtitles. Link to comment
SitTwizzle
Yuzuru Hanyu's free skating at Worlds 2014 (Eusosport) is already in the Video section, but the short program is there only with French comment. Someone have put the Eurosport version on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RGRaAGvFI0 This channel have many videos from this Worlds, in Men, of course the two others medallists but not only them. And, of course, Yuzuru Hanyu's free skating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpFUB1a9IYk Link to comment
SitTwizzle
We didn't have enough videos of Yuzuru Hanyu's today, did we? This Youtuber has done a bit of a research similar to Henni147's but with some of his "signature moves", some side by side with their inspiration : Link to comment
SitTwizzle
I haven't seen the CBC version for GPF 2013 FS in the Gallery, which a Youtuber posted yesterday. There are all finalists but Han Yan, with a few interviews (Yuzuru Hanyu was already speaking some English). The four first ones had great classical music : Tatsuki Machida's unforgettable Firebird of course, but Maxim Kovtun dared Tchaykovsky's First Piano Concerto at only 18, Nobunari Oda with William Tell (Rossini suits him so well with his humour, yet I didn't like the cuts that much, except the last part), and he got Bronze; and Patrick Chan with Corelli and Vivaldi, I love Corelli but I wouldn't have imagined anybody skating to it. And she also posted the victory ceremony by TV Asahi : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVi2FPYstfA In fact she posted plenty of really interesting videos. And this one, short program practice at Sochi before Plushenko's withdrawal, Yuzuru Hanyu watching his idol practising, and not believing he was there, on the same rink as him, at the same competition. So moving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFfd0dXoSUY Link to comment
