Actually this reminds me in Valieva's fall on 4T in the free originally the tech box flashed it as a yellow and I was about to lose it if they didn't give her a deduction (they did in the end but until the scores came out I was like don't you dare not penalize for a clear fall)
February 7, 20224 yr i don't know.. maybe my lack of tech knowledge, but i don't get the sense that Yuma is overscored. and he is geniunely skating really well, unlike some others. i personally don't want to be negative towards him, that's all i'm trying to say.

I like Yuma! He genuinely is in incredible young skater, but some of his GOEs and PCS scores for his team FS were a bit ridiculous. He's really good! Just I definitely think that FS was not 208 points good

Honestly after reading what he's said about practice I feel better cause I don't think he really cared about landing lots of his jumps, I think he was just getting a feel for the rink and never intended to make it a long, intensive practice

Yuma's scores may be generous (although I think the inflation is more egregious on the PCS side) but Valieva's are something else
February 7, 20224 yr Can anyone please share some clips/video of his OP, i missed the whole thing bcoz of work 😔.
February 7, 20224 yr we got some days before the fs anyway. I'm not gonna panic and he most likely has a contingency plan. he may be stubborn but idk the man won two oly golds with that type of headstrong/yolo attitude. choreographed 4 (insert jump bc I don't remember and I am really tired) fall was a meme for a year until it wasn't.... I don't even know why I'm calm about this considering I have diagnosed anxiety but it may just be lack of sleep. tl;dr he just got here and he knows *things* we'll see what happens Spoiler delirious idea before I pass out but it'd be funny if he really had no intention of landing it for this practice and just wanted to troll the reporters like last time. again I'm losing braincells typing this as we speak but we've seen weirder shit.

His GOEs on jumps are high and his lutz/flip jump takeoff is wrong. His SS is miles ahead of Nathan but the rest of components nope, very overscored. It might surprise you but Jun should get higher PCS compared to Yuma and I mean A LOT higher.

I care about scores not in the sense of me personally caring about results but more about how his achievements will be devalued by many because of a few less than perfect scores I want scoring to be fair, but that's not something Yuzu can control. All he can control is whether he stays true to himself. And that -- always being true to himself and his dreams -- is absolutely what makes him Yuzu. If he sacrifices that, he will lose everything. It's up to him to decide what he cares about most. We can trust him to do that and to adjust his skate accordingly. I take it on faith that whatever he presents, it is a 100% authentic expression of who he is at his core in that moment. In PC, he went to a safer layout in order to win, because winning was his highest aspiration. Here, the story may be different. Yuzu's strength of character, even more than his astonishing skating skills, is what makes him special. It's why Mishin's quote will always be true: You may beat Hanyu, but you can never surpass him.
February 7, 20224 yr Are all 4A attempted today really downgraded?because jackie posted that on twitter and all the comments are really mean and making fun of Yuzu...
