I will support him no matter what he skates but also manifesting clean/mostly clean skates

He couldn't get to the rink no?

He was making a fuzz on Twitter not long ago.

Also, I would not trust Jackie with calls on downgraded 4A or hanged on jumps for Yuzu.

I mean, the whole thing was filmed, surely if anyone recorded it they can clip the attempts and we can see for ourselves

I literally just think that ISU very much dislike him although God knows why (I mean half of FS fans are in it for Yuzu lmao)

He is too pretty and awesome for them to handle 🤣

Imagine the ISU as those gansta and Yuzu as the perfect Sakamoto 😂

Ugh ... I'm so nervous and stressed ... he was alone, no Ghislain, right? ... I don't think is a good thing to be alone in these circumstances but he knows better ... ugh ...

Probably very wary of covid especially since Zhou tested positive. Speaking about that, why on earth are they saying that if he magically tests negative overnight he'll be able to compete tomorrow? Like, huh? Also I hope they're being super careful testing the rest of team USA to make sure none of them bring it to the SP

yeah, feels clearer and clearer that he made the right call by not doing the TE and staying away as long as possible. China's covid measures may be strict but with so many people coming from so many places + omicron's transmissibility, it's impossible to make the place entirely covid-free

Honestly after reading what he's said about practice I feel better cause I don't think he really cared about landing lots of his jumps, I think he was just getting a feel for the rink and never intended to make it a long, intensive practice

I feel better, too. I MYSELF want 3rd OGM for him b/c he's too good to NOT have a 3rd OGM. But he's the one who has to practice and face media scrutiny and everything. And he can prioritize whatever goals he wants. I do trust that he has considered and thought through all the variables and possible consequences of his Olympics. We know he did not accept his spot lightly or unaware of the pressure, competition, overscoring, etc. He is mentally prepared and wants to be here....on his terms.

He knows how he could likely win and which layouts bring more risk, and it looks like he's decided on his course of action and is still in control and simply working his plan. I dearly hope the best case scenario works out for him. Part of me really wants him to change his layout, but I'll stand by whatever he decides at the end of the day. He'll make the best decision for HIMSELF.

Yuzu's 4A attempts on Weds will be better imo - he flew nearly 4 hours yesterday, it can mess with balance. Hope tomorrow goes well for him.

Remember that one time everyone and their mother pointed out Yuzu's 4A was UR or even borderlined, but Jackie insisted it was DG, even tho it was filmed? Yah, filming is not enough for him, not even seeing jumps with his own eyes.

it sure does look like that.

i will revel in schadenfreude when figure skating watch ratings will plummet after Zu retires (when he wishes to, and on his terms)

Absolutely, whatever disappointment I had that he didn't do TE (I would've loved 2 Rondo) is absolutely nonexistent after that

Yesssss this is a perfect summary of my thoughts on this whole affair

I'm crying here, but at least this made me laugh for a second.

Ok Ok I feel a lot better. Go for it Yuzu. I can only pray for your hardwork to payoff.
