In recent Twitter exchanges among Japanese fanyus, we are beginning to beg Yuzu not to go back to the Moon - at least not yet   This is in reference to the old Japanese story “Kaguya-Hime”  - about a lovely baby girl who was found inside a bamboo stalk and adopted by an indigent couple. Over many years she brought great joy, prosperity and pride to the couple, but when they tried to force her to marry a high official, a winged carriage flew in to carry her back to her heavenly abode in the Moon. She is the ephemeral lunar spirit - beautiful and évanescent- whom we can never hold down to our earthly ways.

So when we view an extraordinarily beautiful creature, we cry and beg it not to return to the Moon.   Zuzu, don’t go back to that lunar world - at least not yet!

His jumps are sooo beautiful it is art, he is art

I'm already in love with this program

November: blasting Homura and crying because Yuzuru withdrew from his GP assignments.

Today: crying because of *gestures wildly**

Good luck for today, Yuzu, won’t be able to watch live, I am working, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

No, don't make me feel guilty for watching while at work... AND I'm supposed to do a live stream on Instagram in half and hour for work's social media and am NOT feeling ready at all

I am a teacher, there’s no way I can both teach and watch him skate at the same time.

I figured... some jobs require actual attention when done...

Just tell your students that you will show them something educational and put on the stream

I’d have a hard job cloaking Yuzu skating under the title of History of English!

Well, I'd phrase it like... "Between 2004 and 2022 there was a movement of thousands of people all around the world who struggled to learn English to socialize in internet forums dedicated to their favourite ice skater Yuzuru Hanyu!" And then you drop the stream. xD

Yuzu at warm up area now... but whoa, the quality of the video is shitty.

VPN required

Ok, I realised I can choose higher quality on PC unlike on Ipad.

Does anyone have an exact time list for men’s SP? I can do the conversion myself, but I need to know when I need to excuse myself to see Yuzu, Shoma and Keiji.

Thank you, @sallycinnamon!

Is.. Yuzu’s hair.. parted in the middle?

EDIT: false alarm. It was just the angle of the camera. His hair is parted on the side as usual.
