Tweet wonders if this TV news program will broadcast anything about Hanyu Yuzuru's Mid-Summer Carnival on Ice. The program is News 930a on TVK / Terebi Kanagawa from 9:30-55 pm weeknights. Danibellerika
I dunno. I guess I'm a people person. If I have a chance to meet one of my faves and tell them I enjoy their work, I do. But I'm very composed about it because they are people too. I had a great time in Helsinki meeting so many skaters and their coaches who have I admired for years as well as getting to speak with them about the sport and get some interesting insights. I met Caro's coach in the elevator and we had a great conversation and when she learned I'd seen Caro as far back as 2003 at Worlds in DC, she was floored. I met Jason Brown on day one and his parents and they remembered me all weekend when we'd bump into each other. You just have to learn to read the room. I got to meet Kevin Reynolds and we ended up chatting in Japanese. Rohene Ward actually approached me (we had a run in at the arena and he remembered me from that), haha. He was really nice and I was telling him how I used to work at one of the rinks where Michael Weiss trained in the DC area and it turns out he trained there as well! And of course it was a pleasure to meet Tracy Wilson on the heels of Yuzu's win (inside I may have wanted to bow to her like Yuzu did in the K&C, but I didn't ). There were happy faces all around. Just about everyone was very pleasant and gracious. I guess I've met and interviewed so many Hollywood celebs that figure skaters aren't really ones to freak me out. Now I'm feeling bad that I never finished my Helsinki tumblr post. Maybe I'll do it this week as an amp up for the new season lol. Link to comment

And within a year I went from thinking Boyang was boring and lousy to watching Spiderman 10 times a day, obsessively watching his 4lz, and dying to see his new programs. So he has improved a lot. We still don't know his new programs, do we? Link to comment

Oh, second year PW was already way better, the first year was more like trying to be cool but being cute (I still remember a lot of critique for PW 1.0 and NDP addressed to the new coaching team from fans back then, don't know where're those critiques now...) 7 часов назад, Murieleirum сказал: Completely agree. To go up and talk to him and tell him how much you appreciate his work, is a human connection. A picture is just a picture and might make him uncomfortable if he notices but decides to say nothing. In this case, I wouldn't worry because they said he shook hands with the photographer... he's just too nice... I'd say I'm a team approach but depends really on the situation... in the line at airport it maybe awkward (only if you're lucky enough to be next to him and better say smth. then just stare, if you can remember words of course ), if you're at the... I dunno some hall/shop and not too many people around then maybe asking for a pic will also be OK after saying smth. nice ))) Of course I'm not at all famous but when on the festival a couple of people said they liked my performance I was very happy - it just seems different to hear an applause and to having someone say a compliment to you directly I also tried to say nice things to skaters with whom I took pics in Helsinki and they seems pretty pleased (or they just were being polite ) 6 часов назад, obscurite сказал: This is GPF 2015 but I think he's noticing some fan banners / fans here (near the end of the video!) At the GPF 2015 it was very noticeable that he looked up several times during practices and above the last rows of the seats there were banners Link to comment

Regret selling your sewing machine. Step 3. ? My tips are: 1) find some HQ-pics with Yuzu + some pretty background 2) photoshop pretty Yuzu to the pretty background 3) find where to print it But I must admit a like a lot Japanese fans banners which seems to be hand-made with different fabrics and sparkles but sadly I can't sew like at all... This reminds me I could have asked Nathan for an autograph outside of the Arena in Helsinki but he was with other people and he was walking pretty fast, so I actually only stared at him and saw him get in line for a taxi... I think my decision in that case could have been the wisest - but you never know. (Like, specifically, he was with a girl - maybe his girlfriend? His sister? I mean, I didn't want to bother them either way). Link to comment
Lunna
5 часов назад, Murieleirum сказал: Art A+ Fun is easier, though. Javi is fun, too. The hardest thing is the depth of interpretation. I'm not saying Shoma has it; on the contrary, sometimes I think Shoma's interpretation is just a mask that does not allow for transformation, skating-while. But as far as I'm concerned, Boyang has yet to become a man and really skate naked in front of everyone, with his heart in his hand. It's okay if he doesn't do it, though. You can count on one hand the skaters that did that, in history. I think we can't ask every skater to wear the heart on his sleeve it's really a rear talent (at Helsinki I can only name Yuzu, Jason and Misha Ge), so just good interpretation of music/character can be enough for me. And Shoma's interpretation can be a mask but at the same time he has that talent to capture you attention during his performance. Link to comment
