Does anyone know if Yuzuru said why he chose Danny Boy?   My father taught me how to play Danny Boy on the harmonica about 40yrs ago and it is about the only song I did learn to play  hahaha  I need to practice more

I don't think Yuzuru actually mentioned the reason, but Danny Boy is what HOSHINO Gen chose as a song of his life.

Yuzuru said in the program that, when he listens to piano music, he thinks about how he could skate to it.

And Gen-san wanted Yuzuru to skate to Keith Jarrett's piano piece.
