I think it really depends on the question that was being asked. There is a difference between: Who is your favourite Japanese skater? Vs. Who is you all time favourite? 
 

had I been the one answering that question, I myself would have said Yuzu and Mai without needing to get into details of how much I think Yuzu is the greatest.

 

It’s all about context which more often than not gets lost in quotes such as these.

I couldn't help myself   I guess I've been seeing too many Yuzu photos to recognize the pose even in mantis pictures.   But, to my defense, even the background colors match for the most part.

I don't know, on the JapanTV Standard list of channels, Kansai TV shows up - I don't have an active subscription anymore to check right now, but I'll get a new one for the Sunday Nagoya show and see then if it is as a channel for sure. Since the host of the qq stream that worked for Makuhari used JapanTV too, I'd guess it's not impossible to get a live stream there.
