I hope that if/when they will make a movie about Hanyu's life during his competitive years it will be more like Whiplash and explore his obsession about his skill, and not some relationship nonsense.

Yes, I agree...Kazuki did really well in JNats and I am glad he can go 4CC....

But I really want to see he and Yuzu together!

Oh, he's perfectly eligible, he's just not going to. It could be he was offered it and he refused. It didn't really make that much sense to do it, IMO (traveling to California, time and temperature changes, potential for re-injury and as Olys last year proved, keeping everyone guessing about his condition is the better strategy). Though it does suck for fans in the US hoping to see him there. Btw, OT, but it seems Daisuke was offered a Worlds spot and he declined. Yuzu could have done the same for 4CC. It's not his priority.

Kazuki has been working so hard I'm glad he gets a chance for further recognition!

 

3 months has never sounded longer  No news is good news right?

I was selfishly hoping to see him at 4CC since I have tickets  but if it means he is taking more time to heal and get ready for WC I can't complain.

I guess I'll root for my other Japanese babies, Shoma & Kazuki
