These are sold by a Korean lady who lives in Europe, I think. She was at NHK and gave me and @KatjaThera some lollipops to soothe our tramatised hearts. Mine have melted and crystalised already. >_<

(to be honest, though, I was pretty bothered by that, because making money out of Yuzu merchandise without his/his team's approval is not only unethical, but I'm pretty sure also illegal. Although I also get her argument about official merchandise being lacking...)

I had forgotten about Gabby's Gold... but that split Yuzu and Javi and now Javi's all alone... I guess now Yuzu has to get another Olympic medal to keep Javi company!

Sorry, that sort of thing always bugs me lol And I think there are many fans in general who genuinely don't know that, so it feels a bit like raising awareness ^_^;

 

Yeah... if Japan got a good team by Beijing... but not very likely, sadly. Or they could give individual medals for SP, FS and overall lol (It bugged me at that Olympic Japanese medalists press conference, how some athletes had three medals because they can compete in different length competitions lol So it should be possible to get multiple medals in FS, too (Yuzu would have... three golds in Sochi, I think? and two in Pyeongchang, plus a silver. ^_^; so 5 golds and 1 silver. Kinda crazy, though lol)

Are you counting team event in that? Honestly I would regard SP, FS, and overall medals higher than I currently regard the team event. Because if they are going to give away more medals at least let people earn them by competing against a full field and ACTUALLY placing well enough on their own against that field.  Pretty much like it is now with euros, 4cc and worlds with the small medals. 

I can't tell for sure but I think she has a booth set up inside the venue so I guess it's allowed.

 

It also says EDEA will have skaters cards from today.

But frankly, hips or no hips, I'm baffled why guys aren't doing it when some girls are. I don't think the logic of "it can damage your hips" would suddenly  convince them when they're willing to go through astonishing lengths in order to raise their BV. 

 

But anyway, in the absence of a -3Lo, ALL top guys do a -2T combo. So perhaps a quad-quad doesn't necessarily help them, but a -4T combo, whether attached to a quad or to an axel, would certainly be an advantage. It wouldn't replace a triple, it'd replace a double.

 

 

I would like to see yuzu try a 3 loop combo. Does anyone have video footage of him attempting?? 

 

Also ladies have wider hips which makes jumps more difficult. Why do men have more difficulty then i wonder?
