  1. Oh my God! Yuzuru would be proud of you!
  2. Plus, we always see Yuzu drinking that orange stuff, so I think he is similar to that athlete you know and he likes drinks best instead of real food when he is skating.
  3. Yeah, sometimes I get paranoid about him getting fed enough but those kind of drinks would be perfect! Gives energy and it's quite easy to digest. With anxiety, and kind of food can become a problem and cause an upset stomach... especially fruit, lol!
  4. No food from morning to 2 pm? That's bad. He won't skate with energy in his body. He should eat something in the morning, soon, when he wakes up, and then maybe he can drink the energy drink a couple of hours before skating. The kind of energy drink that actually contains calories and not only vitamins. Well, I don't think I should worry though. He gets the help from nutritionists so I have no doubt he will eat something that morning.
  5. Oh noes, I set my heart to write something sweet and fun but I think I teared up a little. I give you: To Yuzuru, from a Friend I have seen my friend grow tall I have seen him cry and fall But for me, I'm prone to swear (Though only a stuffed Pooh bear) He's the strongest of them all.
  6. Wow I almost missed all the addiction talk! I'll just drop down my two cents then (kinda serious, so if you don't wanna get sad, don't read): I'm happy August is almost finished and September is coming. I'm happy I will have less time on my hands to see FS and Yuzuru's programs all day long. There is something as healthy obsession and unhealthy obsession, and the border is subtle. I think my obsession with Yuzuru right now is healthy, as much as an obsession can be, because I know it won't last forever (although my love for him and for FS will, of course) and I know I will be able to live without watching his videos every day. I want to be able to live without doing so, and real life will help me do that. I want to get pumped during competitions, and forget about it once I have to think about other things. Since I'm still coming out of a dark period (you could call it that or you could call it my whole life since a year ago lol) I didn't expect to approach Yuzu and FS in a completely healthy way, when I first got interested. I knew exactly I would get obsessed. And I said, fine. It's much better than other obsessions you've had in the past, so you're forgiven, LOL. As for my friends, the few close friends I have know about him, I've showed them videos and they like him a lot. Not interested enough to come to competitions with me, though, so I try not to talk to them about him. I'm lucky my sister enjoys FS and likes Shoma Uno so I can count on her for that, LOL.
  7. Victories come with effort: A LOT of effort: Carolina also knows this very well: But she gives everything she's got:
  8. Ah, yes, the thread that I was waiting for
  9. I am nowhere near doing layback spins (or even normal spins lol) on ice, but I am training my back and legs and hips flexibility for some months now. Actually, there are some nice yoga positions that help you to lift up your leg, that I've been doing on a daily basis. The specific one I'm referring to is called the "standing bow". Yesterday, I even tried to grab my foot with both my hands, but I could only barely touch it with the opposite hand. I am very determined to do some nice layback spins in the distant future Anyways, I'm just an amateur doing random exercises that seem to help.
  10. I can't believe he would abandon it and NOT perform it again next season! He knows exactly how much the audience loves it, and I'm sure he will do it again. With Gala lights and White Prince costume? Perfection
  11. This article is amazing, and depicts perfectly what happened in Helsinki, both in the Short and the Long programs. You hear everyone complimenting Hope and Legacy's perfection, but LGC during Worlds was absolutely out of this world. It seemed to me like every performance that day was two minutes and something, there were beautiful moments, and there were boring moments (those ugly musical cuts!). But Yuzuru's LGC came and brought the whole house down, the Arena really transformed itself with that initial note, and that "Dearly beloved". In a blink of an eye it was all already over, because that SP is so fast and frantic. I wish he could have kept LGC for the Olympic season. Of course, he did the right choice by choosing the program with whom he felt the most comfortable with. But LGC at Olympics would have been historical, for real.
  12. I had never thought of a Edward Cissors' hands + Yuzuru combination but this video almost brought tears in my eyes!
  13. Im not eyeying I've got something in my cry
  14. This just gave me absolute peace
  15. *hopelessly crushing over all three*
  16. Yes, Seimei's aesthetic is literally perfect for Yuzuru, very kitty-sh, feline, quiet and mysteriously powerful. The actor himself is tremendously handsome if I may. (In real life he's like 51 now, but he's still handsome and when he was a little younger he was literally... I mean, try to say no to those eyes, I dare you) ^ This right here is a Seimei murderface prototype.
  17. WELL, okay, not that old. I mean, for a MOVIE it's a little old, plus comparing the Japanese movie industry with the American movie industry, more than 2001 it looked like it was done in the 80's or something
  18. I'm sure he is very aware of this, of the balance that portraying Onmyouji requires. The movies are so amazing for this very reason. Also, what I appreciated in the first movie is that even if Onmyouji is a wizard and can see and fight evil demons and spirits, ultimately he needs the help of a woman that has the power of immortality. A power very fitting for women, more than men. It's unusual for an old movie to subtly imply gender equality like this. It's easy to make a hero who 'does all, saves all', but, of course, Onmyouji did not disappoint in this regard. This just adds up to the reasons why I love SEIMEI and I'm so happy that Yuzuru is repeating it!
  19. Here, have some Takahashi Feeling the gravity Not sure what's happening here
  20. Paint never disappoints
  21. "It's not that 1+1=2. It's more like 1+1=3 or even 4." Gotta love that Yuzu mind.
  22. Well, Notte Stellata is suited for Yuzuru, but I bet there are lot of performances that Javi could do that would bring out his feminine side, it's just that he's never explored that part of himself. I guess it takes a lot of courage and sometimes a self-research one can be not willing to make. On the other side, you have women's field in which exploring a less stereotypical way to be women is still a tabu... nevermind exploring their masculine sides
  23. I guess being able to only do feminine characters is a weakness as much as only being able to do masculine characters is. And currently, Yuzu is one of the few skaters who can pull off perfectly both roles, even into one performance only.
  24. I didn't even have to ask *tears* can you make that gif your ava?
  25. *Stares at SparkleSalad's ava until see can see Yuzu's murderface behind that frog mask*
