Tbh, if you noticed other skaters didn't even try to do quads at Faoi for their routines, because the ice conditions and light conditions make matters 100% more difficult. The fact that Yuzu did Chopin clean with 2 quads during an ice show is an incredible exception, just like his WR three days ago. c:

Omg! Why didn't I eat pancakes this morning!! Doesn't sound weird to me. After all, Yuzuru is the current GOAT, so watching him skate is always enlightening, when he's perfect and when he bombs. Plus yeah, Kevin is a total lover of Japan and Japanese, so I bet he always low-key wishes to talk with him about stuff.

I guess Yuzuru has already replied in his head, because if he's decided he's going to add that 4Lz, he's gonna do it and with a clean FS too. Maybe he's not going to obtain this at the start of the season, and he's going to make us worry, but if everything goes according to plan, at GPF he will deliver because he wants that medal hard. And all the kuyashii towards Seimei will motivate him to push. For example, even if he messes up at Cup of Russia, I still see that as useful because he will just get more angry and more motivated. Problem is... we still haven't even seen that clean 4Lz!!! And. That's. A problem!

In any case. I feel like I should re-watch Hope and Legacy's evolution during the last season. I feel like Seimei's going to have the same history - maybe peak a little sooner, I hope. Fact is, Yuzuru knows that clean Chopin and clean Seimei will beat his own records. That knowledge makes things complicated. Because every time he will skate the perfect Short, he will have to deal with that pressure of that 330 (a pressure that no other skater feels nearly as much as him, imo) and will have to skate his free for 4 minutes and a half, without thinking constantly "I have to be perfect, I have to be perfect, I have to be perfect". So, I guess, the more experience he has with this kind of feeling (skating a clean short and having to follow-up with a clean free) the readier he'll be at Pyeongchang. So, weirdly so, I do wish that these first competitions will teach him a lot in this regard. Will teach him to 'shut his mind the hell up' during the free, LOL.

I feel like this year will really fly by... when there's lots of stuff to do, time passes really quickly. But some particular moments, like the evening after a late night streaming party ended sourly, when there is no hot chocolate to keep you company, no actual human being company near you... eh... I get all melancholic and romantic. It's okay though. The hype for another competition is gonna come back soon enough. I wonder if we should start writing this in letters that we send him... try to convince him through guilt LOL.

I love the new costume! Yesterday I couldn't quite figure out if it was the old one or new, something was a little different, the gold belt was the clearest difference... I loved the fact that I had to look closely to see the difference. Somehow, like the program itself. New and improved Seimei, not completely different, but on another level.

At Helsinki, I was with my sister during his SP. But I was alone watching him during the World Record Free. Then, this week? I was alone watching the SP. And yesterday night I was with my friend and he bombed Seimei LOL. I think I'm never gonna see Yuzuru with someone else again HAHAHAHA. As a lot of people have said here, the exact moment it was evident there was something wrong was the Kamehameha moment. But I'm not gonna talk about those painful 4.40 minutes LOL save me. I love the new costume!! Even if it's not the ultimate one, I still haven't understood LOL. Being a Yuzu fan is so tiring. The emotional rollercoaster is incredible.
