  1. Just catching up with the thread. Great article/interview from Brian. I love what they have going on at TCC. RE: Seimei and Yolo-ing. I think Yuzu learned a valuable lesson here. That it's harder to Yolo Seimei than Hope & Legacy. The moment he popped that lutz I can almost feel his brain going yolo!time and just overthink everything... The rhythm of Seimei didn't help with that. He can yolo H&L because of the almost serene nature of the melody and the way it's structured can give him time to think between elements but not so for Seimei. I think that's why he fell on the 3a (le gasp!) he was rushing and catching up to the beat while yolo-ing at the same time.
  2. The translation of the pic with Rika & Brendan Kerry! So cute!
  3. Same... he looked like a petulant toddler and I love it. Reminds me of that article where they said "Yuzuru Hanyu, are you a brat….?"
  4. I wonder if part of Brian and Yuzu's talk post competition were about the gloves? I do feel the gloves messed with him a little though. Didn't Yuzu say in that interview he had with Kenji (and I paraphrase) that everything had to be aligned for him mentally and physically to be able to perform well?
  5. Thanks for the Kyodo News article recommendation @xeyra. My thoughts: I love how much Yuzu and Brian are able to communicate more. I also agree that Brian might not be too keen on the 4Lz because as Yuzu has shown, you can get a high score (and win) with a clean skate even with just the 4T and 4S. However, he also knows how intense Yuzu is and, as he has indicated time and again, he relates to Yuzu or rather his younger self relates to Yuzu. So he must also understand what drives Yuzu as a competitor but at the same time, Brian is his coach and the goal is to win so he might be hesitant to push forward a new element especially this Olympic season and the way judging panel goes. It must be a conflicting feeling for Brian.
  6. I don't know why I find Nathan's photos so hilarious..
  7. Hmmm... but does it involve everyone at TCC, I wonder..
  8. What does this mean...?

  12. New magazine cover?
  13. I find it funny one picture of him sipping from a juicebox was even used at an actual news site
  14. Customary Pooh-squeeze... Pooh-san with Tracy...
  15. OG Seimei costume..
  16. That could be it.... Yuzu does get a bit vague with answers when talking about his asthma/injuries though. I'm happy he's more open about it now.
  17. Maybe they were both roomed in the “Multi-support House”? the info was an answer from an anon who asked "I'm jumping all the way back to the sochi Olympics. I was having some confusing regarding yuzu's stay at the olympic village when I was going through some videos and articles. My japanese is not good so do you know what exactly happened? What I sort of understood (might be misunderstanding but) was he stayed with machida but then the figure skaters ended up moving to single rooms. Yuzu ended up moving out of the olympic village? I DONT KNOW PLEASE HELP!" Here's a link to the post.
  18. I don't think he's picky as well but it might just be others being worried about him. Anyway, for @xeyra & @anyanee - I found the translation/source about where Yuzu stayed.. This was translated by nonchan1023 @ tumblr. At GPF 2012 Also:
  19. I've read a translation but I can't remember the source.. I'll get back to this thread/reply once I find it (it was a looong time ago...)
