Yes, Sota has moved to Seniors since last season... I don't know about the injury status, but he was in that Oly team camp, so I'm trying to be optimistic. True, but I doubt she will change her team now... maybe after next season, but I can't see it happening now. I just hope she gets 2 great programs (I loved loved loved her SP, and while I didn't like her LP as much, it was still a good program IMO) and that she lands her 3As like the one in that WTT practice video. I just need some ladies out there attempting the 3A, otherwise I get itchy :laugh: (and no, quads don't make up for it, 3A >>>> quads!) (Of course there is also princess Rika :love: ) Ehehehe, and of course, that doesn't need to be said, inside edges are overrated :space:

I think they'd call stricter, give him less GOE love and 4F wouldn't even be ratified in the first place. PCS wouldn't be that generous too imo. Thanks for clarifying, and I agree. Though the 4F.... pre-rotation sadly isn't called in general, even if the rule book says it should. But the GOE would very likely be different. As for PCS, I think the high PE & IN marks are justified, SS halfway, but TR.... similar to Nathan in that regard (tough Shoma is better overall). Gio, yes it's facts, but I'm ranting so much I feel like sometimes I just have to laugh at myself. And lol, yes Wakaba has a really pretty... 3 lip :laugh: I love Anna too, but her Lutz take off is meh. There are sadly quite a lot of skaters with questionable technique.

Haha, pre-rotation discussion popped up and it wasn't me... and it didn't even take a week either :grin: I'm not surprised hearing that Shoma tried the 4Lz... I'm not even sure I want to see it though. I can't believe he gets that outside edge when a few weeks ago his triple was still a clear flutz. It's quite depressing and I know I'll spend all of next season ranting so much if no miracle happens. But yeah, as long as the TPs and judges basically tell Shoma that he doesn't need to work on things, it makes sense that he won't. (If you get a 4Lz with a 4F and vice vers for free now, then please someone tell Boyang. His 4Lip would at least still be a great jump, and he has the 4Lo too. All quad + 3A layout here we come )

That would definitely make it easier to choose ^^ My all time fave would be Mao. But I voted other for my babies Waka and Polya :love: And I also love Akiko, Adelina, Anna, Kaetlyn and others.

It's Olympic season though, so maybe some skaters already get their programs done very early? She could have already had it before WC, or at least before WTT.

Lol okay, gotta ask, is she doing tango or maybe flamenco/paso doble because... that costume. Nothing about music choice out yet AFAIK... but yes, looks like tango/flamenco. Which would be fine for me :tongue:

And Laurine and her beautiful SP have won my heart <3 Big yes for Ivett too, and additionally Loena Hendrixs, she was so lovely live. And I also second everyone who mentioned Deniss, what an outstanding talent. As for Cha and the South Korean ladies (with a lot of talent coming up in juniors), I wouldn't be surprised if they'd earn themselves their own thread around here not before too long

Please stay on topic :s_tongue As for potential layout plans - I'm personally leaning very much to Yuzu including the 4Lz. He is not the type to say "I'm doing something" and then not doing it, he's a lot more the type to not say a word and just throw out a 2 quad SP with no warning. So whatever he says in interviews, I'd go more by what we heard and now saw in practices. At the WTT practices he had a bad succession rate, but it was at the end of the season, he was exhausted, and I'm sure some form of doing the 4Lz the first time before cameras pressure was there. So I wouldn't give that too much weight. Technique looks perfect (as ever though). So I'll brace myself for a 4lz spread eagle sandwich :whiteflag: Regarding the 'keeping the SP layout but add 4Lz to LP' thing, that's personally my idea of the best balance between raising difficulty but allowing him to hit as consistently as possible. However, I have zero hops that he'll do that, it has so little crazy factor :rotfl: (PS: since you're already talking about soul mates, I already befriended some of you here - and I do not need your permission or yes for that at all! So I will spam the friendship button and nobody is save :grin: )

I think Boyang has said in an interview that he might keep his Spiderman program - but I'd have to find the source again to be 100% sure. He thinks very much that it is his signature program right now too (And count me in as another who really wants a Yuzu + Boyang Oly podium! :s_drinks ) Jinabee, since you started the thread, could you maybe once in a while update the first post with the additional info we have about other skaters music choices? Otherwise a lot will be lost in between the growing pages I think. I can help to and try to do 'collection' post in between now and again with new info ^^
