  1. I checked my twitter and the release news about Ice Jewel came out on May 18. So the interview should be done way before that. My guess is, after WTT.
  2. @meoima oh I just feel his words are a bit vague and surprise by the way japanese media follow up the news. But as @hamaguri said, we might know it later. Maybe its a bit different from my country's media system. I said many times from Friday I'm ok with ballade 3.0, I just want to know the reason come from Yuzu's mouth. Thats it.
  3. @hamaguri Yeah. Thats why I think its might not the final decision yet. Recycle programs are normal but for the 3rd time, its a bit rare. So everyone want to hear his thought and the Faoi interview is the best chance. I' m used to be a journalist, and if I was there, i couldnt wait to ask him about it. But instead, we got very little infos. From my experience, its might be he/ his team avoid the question or request media not to ask about it. But I could be wrong since I dont know much about japanese media.
  4. I'm with @meoima and @unicorn, I think there's a posibility of new SP when Yuzu and Jeff find time to meet up aka may be this week. I watched Yuzu's interview after performing and the only thing he confirm is 4T3T in 2nd half of SP next season. Othet than that, he sounded a bit vague to me and he didnt mention anything about the reason for Ballade 3.0. I think media are confuse about it just like us, maybe he/his team avoid the question which means that might not the final decision. Thats said, i'm also fine with Ballade 3.0. Having clean skate at 3rd show will be a big boost to his confidence.
  5. Well, its too much to ask Yuzu to have Evgenia's consitency, since he's doing a very hard layout and programs. Its the same with other top men. Its impossible to go clean all the time with 4-5 quad layout, and some of them even do new jumps. Meanwhile, the ladies pretty much do the same jumps for many years since they're still juniors. You can see the top ladies often more consistent than the top men. Thats why Yuzuru performances at NHK/GPF2015 are so special because you rarely see 4 clean programs back to back in the men's field. As for the Ballade 3.0, I can see both advantages and disadvantages right now. But its too early to predict anything. I will wait till GP events. Just a food for though, since Yuzu won WC, most people agree that his 4lo and 4quad layout are right move. But if he made mistake and Javi won, people will be on Javi's side. In the end, its the results that decide the strategy is right or wrong
  6. Yuzu usually stay in Japan until next ice shows, he might back to Sendaid or doing CMs/events. For the last 2 years, Jeff backed to Toronto during 1 week break between ice shows to do choreo for other skaters (in 2015, Yuzu used Chopin again and last year he's in canada so it wasn't really effected). I think we might know about Jeff's schedule tomorrow since he often post on SNS when he's back to canada. If there's nothing, maybe he spend time to work with Yuzu. I remember, last year he did choreo for Marin during ice shows.
  7. In national, I think they want to keep all seniors ladies in podium, and Marin make costly mistake too. I agree her pcs should be higher, but her #4 place is fair. JSF does push Marin, but yeah, its japanese media have no chill when its come to her. And her agency doesn't help her with all the hype either.
  8. I think all people here always root for Yuzuru no matter what, but at the same time, we can have our own feeling. Some people like it, some people don't and its fine. I feel like Yuzuru spoiled us a bit with two great programs this seasons so people can't help but expecting the same things, more or less. Sometime its not just all about the score. What @meoima said its probably true, but its a sad reality in this sport. Well, I guess we can't have it all, there're always somethings that need to sacrifice. Its good that Yuzuru reveal Ballade 3.0 so early, we will have the whole summer to process it. Some people may need longer time to move on. I hope we all can enjoy Yuzuru's performance next season, in our own ways
  9. I'm ok with him doing Ballade 3.0. I'm not really fond of it, but not against it either and I'm looking forward to see his performance next season (that 4T3T right at the note does wonders to me). I can understand why some people don't like it and its fine, its not that they don't like Yuzuru anymore, just his decision this time. You can't satisfy all people out there. A little part of me still hope there's a small chance for new SP, simply because I think he is capable of more than this. But I think the most important things is he should do whatever he feel comfortable with. At the end of the day he is the one who skate, and like he said only he could know exactly that feeling. Sometimes I forget how exhaust physically and emotionally skaters must go through, especially in olympic season. So if he decide Ballade 3.0 is good for him in this tough season, I can only support it.
  10. Well given how competitive Yuzuru is, I doubt he will skate for top 5 finish. He will always aim for gold. He seem to be the type that want to finish his career when he's still on top of the game.

    Music talk

Well, I'm perfectly fine with Ballade 3.0 but I still hope there's chance for new SP with another Chopin's piece. Tbh I prefer Ballade No 4 to No 1.
  12. Yeah, I can't get what's JSF thinking ? Why not Marin or Mai at NHK ? Honestly they should take a note from US fed. Satoko will have hard time at SA, but I think NHK is good for her. She can easily get silver if her consistency's back. I dont have any words for COC ladies line up
  13. I'm surprise none of Marin, Mai, Wakaba get NHK. Marin and Yuna have to do back to back event, at different country. Since they're in same team, its easier to adjust, like SC+ NHK for Marin and COC+TEB for Yuna. I think Marin get the toughest draw. At COC there's Wakaba, Mai with her At this rate, we might get only 1 japanese lady at GPF As for the men, aside from Yuzu and Shoma, I'm glad both Mura and Keiji get 2 GPs. Dice will be at NHK and I hope Sota can comeback strong to get that host pick.
  14. @meoima you're saying what I'm thinking. I think his LP is done and its completely new program. I also think he might get a new SP, with different Chopin piece Oh, the wait until his open practice ..
  15. This. Yuzu got LGC choreo around mid july last year, so there's still possibility of new SP
  16. I think the best option is 4lo//3A 4T3T. Its higher BV than this season layout and even if everyone go clean (unlikely tho), he will place first. I dont think he need 4lz in SP.
  17. I think its ok to feel disappointed abit. Even if he has new Sp, there always some people would not like it no matter what. I dont like recycled programs and i want to see as many new things from Yuzu as possible. I think he is capable of more than this. But then, who am I to judge him ? After all, he is the one who skate, and he should do whatever he want. As I said before, its too early to worry about anything. Things can be changed. I would start worrying if he doesn't skate clean chopin 3.0 before nationals.
  18. Well I just want healthy Yuzuru in Olympic season. If that means he will skate Chopin 3.0 for Sp and 4.0 for FS, I'm 200% fine with it
  19. I'm fine with both Tbh I don't want to get worry since its too early, things can be changed. I want to enjoy the off season in peace, and seeing Yuzu being happy in ice show is enough for me. I recall this time last year and its much more terrible so I'm ok with Chopin 3.0 or even 4.0 All of the possibilities aka 3rd time Chopin, layout, judge's favor, scoring...I think he and his team know about these things better than all of us. I still waiting for Yuzu's words
  20. ...There's still no actual confirmation about Seimei 2.0 tho. At this point I wonder if Max should really tweet about rumor, considering many will believe in his words I will believe when I see it. I even think there's still chance that Chopin 3.0 won't happend if Yuzu and Jeff get a new idea out of nowhere. Its still May after all.
  21. I dont like recycled programs either, but Yuzuru reused his PW for Sochi, with the same layout and got WR in previous season, too. And see what happen ? And I think its still too early to talk about the scoring with Chopin 3.0 since we're not judges. How many times they give weird marks that no one can understand it ? There's too much negativity here. I must
  22. Well Seimei 2.0 would be so predictable. I bet for Poto 2.0 or Chopin 4.0 for FS Edit : There's sill no words about programs from Yuzuru. He said he's happy to skate in ice show after long time. That's all. ( I still dont understand the freaking out about Seimei 2.0. Its now like all of things Max say will come true)
  23. He's not decide yet I think. And tbh there's no talk about his new program or his working with choreographer. Well, I hope he won't reuse it. Its too early to worry about anything. Its still May and things can change. Just 1 tweet from Max with no reliable source and some people act like he's really skate to seimei 2.0 ???
  24. Nah he will have new LP. Tbh I think the rumors from Max are mostly from fan's talks.(I like Max but alot of his rumors are not true) I don't like the idea of Chopin 3.0, but I can see why he's going for it. He doesn't skate to satisfy his fans. And he's not only one re use programs this season. Shoma, Javi recycle, too. Boyang keep his Spiderman SP and likely use his La strada again.
