  1. Here is an English sub of this clip. It starts at 5:53. Yes, they are adorable together!
  2. I wish he would do Masquerade, but he said it was a hard program, and I think he wants something more relaxing for his EX. So I think it's going to be CM. That costume is way too fancy for FaOI only, and I think he wants to do Y-spiral. Also, the lyrics to CM are sooo Yuzu. If he shows up in Masquerade costume, imagine the screaming. And I don't care what anyone says, I will definitely be screaming my head off!
  3. I was at 4CC this year, and you should have heard the cheers for the American skaters, so I don't think it's only Yuzu who has a loud fan club.
  4. The "Time of Evolution" Blu-ray I preordered is "All Regions", but I also ordered the previous ""Time of Awakening (Normal Edition)" Blu-ray and that one is "Region A/1". There's also a limited deluxe edition of the "Time of Awakening" Blu-ray and that one is "All Regions", so it's probably best to look carefully at each Blu-ray. Ahh, too late for me too, but I think I get a "logo sticker" with my order. Lol. Once I discovered the icon on the menu bar to switch the language to English, it was amazingly easy to order from Amazon Japan. That's actually quite a dangerous thing for my wallet. Is this what you're looking for? https://www.amazon.co.jp/【メーカー特典あり】羽生結弦「進化の時」Blu-ray(ロゴステッカー付き)-羽生結弦/dp/B07W6XRKQJ?language=en_US The price listed is 10,800 Yen, but I was only charged 10,000 yen. I'm not sure if I got a discount for ordering additional items. It's 2 discs, but still expensive. However, I don't know how much Japanese Blu-rays normally cost.
  5. You can enter the lottery or try to purchase online here: https://www.chacott-jp.com/news/shoplesson/new/detail013485.html How to buy We plan to sell a certain number of items each month, but due to hand-made works, the quantity that can be produced in a month is limited. Thank you for your understanding.... we have prepared two types of sales methods : 1 advance lottery sales and 2 first-come-first-served sales . It doesn't look like they ship overseas.
  6. I'm primarily a dog person, but yeah, I pretty much love all animals too, esp GOATs.
  7. I love it! I can't believe you did it that fast. It looks amazing, and I love how Yuzu kisses Ice-chan to the beat of "I've fallen in love". That's the magic of Yuzu's skating. You can be totally mesmerized by him and not realize that he hasn't even done a single jump yet, whereas for many other skaters, if they're not jumping, there's not much to look at. s The panda roll! I thought we would never see it. Now they need to release the footage!
  8. Not sure if Raf is coaching them, but the Knierim's are training in the same rink and are listed as coaches there: https://www.greatparkice.com/figure-skating/private-lessons/
  9. If Nathan does SA and SCI, it's not just that he will do back-to-back GPs, he also has midterms on 10/25 according to the Yale Academic calendar. So I think Nathan doing SA & SCI is highly unlikely. That's also the reason why I think Nathan doing IdF is unlikely because that means 3 weeks in a row of stress for him: SA -> midterms -> IdF. That's why I originally chose CoR for Nathan, but after @Blackberry said that he might get 2nd midterms before his Nov break, and probably assorted assignments are due before he goes on break, I'm thinking CoC will be the best choice for Nathan. So I agree with Blackberry's prediction of: SA: Nate + Misha (or Boyang) SCI: Yuzu + Boyang (or Misha) IdF: Vince + Shoma CoC: Nate + Boyang CoR: Yuzu + Misha NHK: Vince + Shoma This separates #1,2, and 3 and also separates #4,5, & 6. I think it's better for Shoma to be at NHK because he doesn't have to travel so it doesn't matter as much if it's close to GPF. Yuzu would be impacted more because he would have to travel for NHK & for GPF. Alternatively, if the ISU is greedy and wants to place Yuzu at IdF to help ticket sales, we could see this: SA: Nate + Boyang SCI: Vince + Shoma IdF: Yuzu + Misha CoC: Nate + Boyang CoR: Yuzu + Misha NHK: Vince + Shoma I think this is less likely because then everyone is competing with the same person for both GPs (unless Boyang does back-to-back GPs at IdF and CoC). If Nathan gets CoC and Yuzu gets NHK, then you will see Vincent + Shoma at CoR, but that means Shoma will go up against Misha too (violating the 4,5,6 can't meet rule), unless they don't assign Misha to CoR. I don't know how likely that is. If Shoma is not paired with Vincent, then he has to go against Nathan or Yuzu, and I don't think JSF will want that. So I think there's a better chance of Yuzu at CoR than NHK.
  10. Last season, Nathan chose IdF because Yale had a break during that time. This year, Yale's break coincides with NHK, and I don't think he can go there right? I assume either Shoma or Yuzu will be at NHK. I don't think Nathan will want IdF this season because he has midterms on 10/25 and if I were him, I'd be too wiped out from studying to want to do a comp the following week. That leaves CoC or Rostelecom. China might not want Nathan in order to protect Boyang. Also Rostelecom is closer to Yale's Nov. break, so if Nathan goes to Rostelecom, he may be able to make up any loss school time during his break. So I gave Rostelecom to Nathan and placed Yuzu at NHK. My other pick for Yuzu was SCI, but he might end up at IdF because if Nathan gets SA & Rostelecom, and Yuzu gets NHK and SCI, Vincent ends up with back-to-back GPs. So it makes more sense if the assignments are like this instead: SA: Nathan SCI: Vincent, Shoma IdF: Yuzu CoC: Vincent, Shoma Rostelecom: Nathan NHK: Yuzu Alternatively, if Yuzu picks Rostelecom, and China doesn't care if Nathan competes with Boyang, we could get this: SA: Nathan SCI: Yuzu IdF: Vincent, Shoma CoC: Nathan Rostelecom: Yuzu NHK: Vincent, Shoma
  11. They were emptying the gift box when it filled up and iirc, putting the gifts in bags.
  12. This is correct. Someone emailed Skate Canada in advance and asked if we could throw gifts onto the ice and was told that we could. When I got to the venue, I double-checked with one of the staff members. She told me that we could throw plushies onto the ice, but if we wanted to give a gift specifically to one of the skaters, we should put it in the gift box instead. There was one large gift box for Yuzu, and a small gift box for all other skaters.
  13. A bit late, but wanted to chime in and wish everyone a very Happy Anniversary . Also, I wanted to say Thank You Thank You Thank You to all the admins and mods and satellites that make this such a great place. I'm so happy we have this wonderful forum where we can all show our love and support to the one and only GOAT!
  14. I had a link to that YT video. Unfortunately, that video and the user's account have been deleted. Probably part of that YouTube purge of figure skating videos and accounts. Hopefully it will get reuploaded on YT or elsewhere. The instructor also said that Yuzu has an androgynous look, which is popular in shojo manga. I would add that his heart-shaped face gives him a "pointy chin", which is also typical of manga characters!
  15. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope everything goes smoothly for you. Get well soon. I look forward to seeing you on the forum again.
  16. He seems like a statistics kind of guy, so we can probably summarize the answers to the questions like country, fav programs, etc. and include that in the beginning of the book, like an introduction. We can list the number of people from each country, the number of people who liked a particular program, the number of people who discovered him at a particular time, etc. Or we can present the info as a chart or graph, or in percentages. In CIONTU, he asked the audience when they discovered him, so he was interested in how many people discovered him at a particular time. Also, it would be great if we can add some humor to the book. Funny memes? Poorly taken photos of him? Poorly drawn fanart? Remember those stick-figure fanart? Those were funny. He got a kick out of those "shitty-taken pictures" from the Sendai Parade so I think he would enjoy some humor. I also think we should have several templates so if someone wants to include fanart, they can, but if someone just wants to provide a short message, they can do that also. And for the short messages, we can put several on one page to conserve space.
  17. Custom snow globe of Yuzu in Notte Stellata costume doing Biellmann spin: https://www.queenofsnowglobes.com/ I don't know if Yuzu would want something like that, but I want one. I think you can even add a message to the base of the snow globe, for example something like "2018 Pyeongchang Olympics Exhibition Gala" and the date. It would commemorate one of the happiest days of his life. As for the photobook, I love the idea of the "If it were not for Yuzu, I would never have..." messages. It lets him know the impact he has made on so many people. I also love the idea of a donation. I suspect Yuzu gets A LOT of stuff from fans, so he might appreciate donations to the causes he supports more than anything we can give him. It might be better if we didn't present this to him as a "cheer project". A cheer project means he needs cheering up which will remind him of why he needs cheering up, and I don't think we want to do that. It's better to let him know that we were super happy to see him and that we can't wait to see him again.
  18. It's this: I want to get it. I actually have Ballade No. 1 in one of my Chopin books. I tried playing the slow parts.... like really slow. Lol. It's hard. Maybe I'll have better luck with this book although it says the level is Intermediate/Middle Advanced... and I'm probably more like Beginner/Intermediate.
  19. And exactly one year ago, I discovered Yuzu when I watched his SP.
  20. I am sooo happy that Yuzu will compete next season. I hope the Skating Gods will bless him with excellent health this time so he can "win everything" like he wants to. It's fine with me if he keeps Otonal or Origin, or both. I love both programs, and I haven't seen enough of them, so I'm perfectly happy to watch them again for another season. Also I never got a chance to see HYK live, so I'm definitely hoping he will keep that one. This season, he had to put 4A on the back burner while he tried to perfect Otonal and Origin. I'm thinking if he wants to prioritize 4A next season, he might keep Otonal & Origin so he won't have to spend time learning new programs and can concentrate on 4A. We'll see what surprises he will spring on us. All new programs will be exciting too.
