Yuzu is on the NHK channel at the minute, talking to kiddies... even though I understand not one word, it's adorable. Oh drabbit, gone all too soon, hope someone uploads it...

Because I came into skating this time through Yuzu, that was the first time I even saw/heard of Takahashi and now I simply avoid anything about him because when I look at him, little Yuzu's face pops up in my head.... not the other skater's fault but hey, he doesn't need me so I roll with it. And as for the uglier fans, I just remind myself how beautifully Yuzu has 'replied' to them with the classic saying... "living well is the best revenge."

I think it was wise/fortuitous/lucky that he chose right from the start not to go the social media route, for his own reasons (which are no one's business, of course, but why not?), as - now he is insanely popular but also has pretty insane antis - no one questions it. If he did, and later chose or had to drop it, there would be endless speculation on what caused it. But he's much better off with people just used to the fact that he doesn't and never has. He's actually very good at protecting the privacy he does have...

What worries me is I look at the Javi-faced Yuzu and my mind keeps going "he looks familiar, now where have I seen him before???" (and it's not just on Javi!) So there is somewhere in the world a doppelganger to this, umm, vision...

Right now, they are showing Virtue and Moir on the FaOI broadcast and while they don;t do much for me per se, I am happy becuse I have soooooooo found the skaters to do the Masochism Waltz of my dreams. Especially Tessa. I mean, can't you see her with a whip?
