    Those bits of Yuzu and Javi doing those stroking glides are one of the things that I can watch on loop when I need something simply soothing and uplifting (Yuzu's delayed single axel is another, I have an absolutely unreasonable love for that) Didn't Eteri once say she'd have liked to train Yuzu? I don't think she or her rink would have survived the experience....

    Oh thank goodness for the stream (mind you, I think it'll be the early hours of the morning here, but still...) All the talk of Yuzu in black may have gotten into my subconscious, last night I dreamed I was watching Yuzu wearing all white and skating what may have been Requiem (you know what it's like in a dream!), to music that sounded like a theramin. At twilight. On a rink of black ice. Quite spooky for me, but I really didn't want to wake up.....

    {sporfle} I once saw the phrase "her entire wardrobe was a shrug"... and I do think it applies to folk like Patrick and (mostly) Nathan. Not that that's necessarily a criticism, they all dress with what they are comfortable in, but still....

    The very first time I saw the PC Seimei I was in in a cafe, and admit that I went "YES!!" embarrassingly loudly when he flung out his arms and you could see the sheer joy... I am sure I made a couple of people spill their drinks I regret nothing!

    True, his costume will be BLACK. But look at the 38549257615 pictures of Yuzu in plain underarmour (aka sleek plain unadorned black) on the web.... does anyone in the known universe look as good in it?

    I'm still amazed at how utterly unselfconscious he is with cameras - one or a horde - pretty much right in his face. I know he's pretty much grown up with it, especially in the last quad, but sometimes I see photos, they're less than an arms-length from his nose and he just.... I guess has learned to barely see them any more....

    On the up side, at least we don't have to look forward to that yellow-with-blue-frilled Baby Yuzu one. At least.... we hope we don't......

    Oh I do like these but I'm definitely with the No Bibs brigade.... take that off and it's gorgeous. It might be mean of me, but I look at the 'understated' but probably wildly expensive Vera Wang black Nathan had at the Olympics, and then I look at Yuzu in his simple (and okay not cheap for practice gear but still....) under armour and... there's no contest. Black please, Mr Hanyu.

    Also Shae (along with Jeff the best choreographers going now, and they both have worked with him so long, they know better than we would what he is capable of and where his few weaknesses lie) will, I am sure, have carefully taken that into account.... He's clearly putting heart and soul into it, which is going to make it breathtaking to watch, especially live. ACI - first look.... Helsinki - always a good place for him... Russia - a surely proud Plushy (someone said he'd be there?) and the Russian audience... I really don't know which of you people I envy most!!!

    There have been too many fabulous ones, I want them all!!!!! It's Yuzu's fault for being so slender and graceful that he'd be able to wear them all
