They all look 10 years old.

The more I see this costume the prettier it gets, and the more I admire the color tones, pleating and beading. Just wanted to say that.

Those colors are very H&L to me. It's a very peaceful scene. I also think of a windy field in Hokkaido when I think of H&L, so if I can get a budget together …✈️

So, asking for your patience here but: Can someone direct me to or provide an explanation as to what Mr Hanyu was aiming for with Hope and Legacy? I seem to understand it’s about nature, and he was thinking about wind and trees, but is there an article or interview where it is stated what exactly he was trying to express? Is HE the wind, trees, nature, etc? Is he just a human enjoying nature, catching a falling star, etc? I can find bits and pieces about it, and lots of chat about the 2017 Worlds results but not one whole, concise explanation as to...what is it all about? (I don’t ask for much. Lol) Sorry for the text wall— I love the program, it’s a jewel. よろしくお願いいたします。🙇🏻‍♀️

Speaking of ice shows...how is it decided who performs in what show (as in Fantasy vs The Ice vs Stars on Ice, etc.)? Is it by invitation? Personal preference? Level of achievement? I know some shows are specific (Ciontu was Mr Hanyu’s personal project, thus invitation) but the rest? Thank you for your insights!

My casual thought: He knows he’s got a rabid fan base, so if he’s says he goes nowhere then people aren’t trying to find him. I bet if he said he liked a particular pastry there would be people trying to research what shop sold them, the opening hours, the bus routes from his practice site to each shop, etc. I don’t think he’d like that, he’s not a Kardashian.

If I may inquire, what happened in Boston exactly? Sounds like a major fiasco occurred, but also like it was used to improve his training/focus/etc. So I gather from bits and pieces of people’s posts. Thank you!
