I love this Ghana CM making of . I have no idea what he is saying but I love how expressive and talkative he is with the production team. He doesn't just stand there being told what to do and how to smile and where to go.

I think it's because he's comfortable with them, I think it was 3rd time they worked together. And that man in red near Yuzu is another skater from Miyagi Tanaka Soshi, Yuzuru's sempai from high school. There was story that Yuzu's first landed 4S was landed in front of that man back in 2011.

  2. And here is Yuzu doing split jump for Ghana CM

Can someone hear everything he says after it?

I hear only the first part, that he rarely uses it even for EX and then something about butterfly jump :shame:

Has Yuzuru ever done a split jump - that was caught on camera obviously... just wondering, because its one of my favourite elements :(

I think there was some gala finale few years ago when all men did split jumps - including Yuzu.

There's also Ghana one, with forward split.

Sorry, I assumed Yuzuru was in Toronto because of training. But I suppose he doesn't do much training in the middle of Competition period of the year.

There isn't enough time between GPF and Nationals to return to Toronto for training, so every year since Yuzu started training in Canada after GPF he goes straight to Japan (or just stays there - like in 2013 when GPF was in Fukuoka).

In normal situation he returns to Canada in January.

I wonder how did Javi not remember Yuzu had the flu and did not participate tho, doesn't that mean that Yuzuru actually stayed in Toronto, Canada during the Japanese Nationals? Or did Yuzu stay in Japan anyways?

Anyways, I do agree Shoma is the most 'dangerous' among youngsters. Not because he's better than Boyang, but because his approach to figure skating is more 'dangerous' - pushing and pushing to make jumps with terrible and risky technique that gets ignored by judges and tech panels for... reasons.

Yuzu returned to Japan from Marseilles. Of course he stayed in Japan when he was ill, no way he'd fly to Canada with a flu.

If FaOI organizers are kind to us, we might even get a pair skate of a sorts! I mean if they're smart, they would because talk about publicity.
Fingers crossed for pictures and yes please

Only that Niigata show has the least chances of being aired on TV :PikachuLayingDown:

I am sure Yuzuru gave Zhenia the Irene Gloves. That's the Japanese way. She gave him presents. So he gave her presents.

I wonder how many gloves had Yuzu handed out as presents through years. I remember a photo of Orser in Irene gloves.

I am looking forward to the annual ritual of Yuzu and Patrick one-upping each other on who'll do worse and Yuzu getting his customary silver.

And what if Yuzu breaks the ritual? *GASP*

Yeah, since I'm in FSO, you certainly have to be a high-brow anything! :smiley_facepalm:

And I doubt their expertise, really. If someone can claim that Gatchinsky's spread eagle entry into 3A is more difficult than Yuzu's counter one, I have serious doubts in their ever learning to skate for themselves..

My impression is that many well-versed people abandoned that place. At least when I read discussions few years ago there were discussions about technique and such, not blatant statements or questionable remarks.

Oh, sorry, I'll have to track them down, but yes, in a couple of days!!! After I've finally finished translating the thing I'm doing now...

    You mean Emik?

Emik was never part of admin team AFAIK.

FSO also has rumors right? They're thinking of themselves as elite. I remember my friend said they bashed Adelina there too. For the sake of being elite.

Umm, yes, there're some insiders and fake insiders, and sometimes rumors turn out to be true.

But seriously, level of the forum sunk down lately. Even their admin abandoned it :smiley_facepalm:

But on VK. There are more Yuzuru's fans, no? I am surprised they have many Patrick's fans over there

That's completely different story, FSO is know to be a forum of high-browed elite fans of True Figure Skating (maybe it used to be. not anymore).

In VK percentage of fans is waaaay higher. There was poll "skater you'd love to see at COR" and Yuzu dominated in it I think.

Praying for Skate Canada and France...(however impossible it may seem)

Also, I don't think the location for Nationals has been decided yet?

Yes, Ito said today that they haven't decided yet

Why do they not like him? I've got a good idea why some people on GS don't like Yuzu, but why would Russian fans dislike him?

    IDK... too much talent?

When he was a junior skater many ppl there said how good he is, how promising (did you see that bit in "Kakusei no Toki" DVD where 15 y.o. Yuzu said that he got a present as a best junior skater from Russian fans? It was from users of the forum)

But when he started winning, amount of ppl saying how bad his posture is, how drenched he looks after the performance etc got bigger. And many members of the forum are fans of Patrick so... You can get idea of how it was after Sochi :graucho:
