  1. Lol, Sasha, no The rules are not the problem here, and even if they were changed that way I can guarantee you still wouldn't understand the scores. Also, "doesn't matter how high you fly etc" is a big no for me. Sorry, it does matter to me. The quality matters, and not only if it's bad. But I guess this discussion is never-ending story
  2. I love Matteo's music choices He still must be very frustrated about losing at Nats if he declares that and changes the program. Risky, he can potentially lose a spot for Worlds if Grassl will do better with his way high TES.
  3. It's so great to hear the confirmation from Yuzu that he will be skating next season. Best way to start the weekend injuries stay away from him
  4. I was also wondering where Yuna S is going to get minimum TES for J Worlds (I hope they didn't forget that she doesn't have one lol)
  5. I kinda hoping for surprise from Kevin Aymoz... Also I so want Javi to win his last competition I'll be more nervous for him than for Yuzu...
  6. Oh Loena I so wanted a surprise-not-really medal for her no Carolina either, so really it's Russian podium this year...
  7. National results never count towards records Still, Boyang was inmpressive in that competition. He would have scored a lot lower if it was international though.
  8. Seeing new quads from Sasha is nothing surprising now, but what about Alina training 4F? Kinda terryfing tbh. She don't seem to be in a condition to train a quad...
  9. He said it! He said what I was thinking for a long time, which basically is: Japan Men's skating is in soooo much trouble when Yuzu and Shoma are not around. That's very sad, but very true.
  10. 3 months. I wonder when will we hear something from Yuzu's team. Anything. Anyway, it's good that he has more time than last year And we saw that he was already on the ice, so... I have faith.
  11. OT To go to 4CC he also need a minimum TES. So no, Daisuke won't go to Worlds, unless he surprise everyone by going to some small comp in January, and that's very unlikely. Also it's very unlikely JSF would assign a skater who doesn't have minimum TES at the moment.
  12. JSF won't assign a skater who doesn't have minimum TES at the moment, at least I don't believe this because that's just not professional. Anyway I don't believe Daisuke wants to go to Worlds, if he'd want to, he would already skated internationally. And seriously, why would you care about people that will say that double olympic champion and world record holder don't deserve to go to Worlds because he had to miss this one competition? Don't spare them a thought, be happier \o/
  13. Whaaat, like, I feel I was always somewhere in the middle and suddenly I'm first overall??? Woow, I never would think that! That was very fun, thank you for organizing it @Joey
  14. I only care about him achieving all his goals (while being healthy of course), that's why he's still competing after all I guess what I mean is, if he wants, say, land that 4A and say goodbye the same day, I will cry rivers but will be okay with it, if it is what he wants. We may not know half of his plans and ambitions though...
  15. Personally I think Beijing could happen, but only if Yuzuru took a whole season off to heal his injuries completely (if this is even possible at this point)... generally I think a lot depends on how much his body will let him do. After second Olympics he wanted to skate for fun, as much as it hurts to think about a sport without him, I don't want him to fight through numerous injuries all the time... I already feel for him when I think about effect all of it will have on his body in 10-20 years. And Yuzu might be dreaming to have a perfect season with gold streak (who of the figure skaters don't, really) but I think he's aware this one is the goal that wouldn't be easy to achieve with will and determination only, and mostly not because the competitors, but his health... With all of this, I still believe that right now he he is working to come back and take care of the unfinished business
  16. He wants the 4A. I'm sure he will want the 4Loop back too. These jumps don't put that much pressure on the ankle compared to Lutz and tbh injury may happen at every jump, especially after everything he already is through. Ofc no one can be sure what he will do in the future, but given that 4A was his biggest motivation to continue... let's just say, believe in Yuzu. I hope he gets to do it! Also Brian, please say something about how its going from time to time, okay?
  17. Yeah, even if it was to be expected, it still makes me really sad. But, I was very doubtful about Yuzuru and injury at least two times before, but this time I will just patiently wait. He will be back. I hope in time for Worlds.
  18. Ohh no is she out of national team too? I mean Zhenya could skip nats last year and I'm sure Alina could do it now if she needed to, but with Liza'a last few seasons, I doubt they will just give her a spot...
  19. I think I picked one podium right (and it's Men's), but geneally REALLY messed up. I don't remember who I picked for jr men's because I thought of too much combinations, but other than Men's, I only probably have one other winner right (Ice Dance). I didn't dare to predict Rika or Kosto for gold, but I'm so happy I was wrong
  20. Be healthy and happy Yuzu! Happy Birthday!
  21. Everything was hard to decide tbh, but junior men must be officially the most unpredictable literally everything is possible.
  22. Well, Nathan and Shoma probably will get 1-2 in whatever combination, and bronze will be a huge success for any other guy who will be there this year. And this will be interesting because in my opinion their chances are similar. And I will be happy for any of them, really. Ladies will be crazy...
  23. It's true they would probably knew it after first examination, really. That just clashes with this "not too serious". Probably I should stop overthinking it, okay. That article is just speculation but seriously right now I don't think there's a way he could do Nationals. I hope he just heals and be ready for Worlds and maybe 4CC (if he feels good enough and wants some trial before). He's a 2-time Olympic Champion with season's top scores, he obviously don't have to compete at Nationals for a spot. Still it's frustrating, for Yuzuru most of all, for fans, I'm sure also for Shoma because he automatically will get 3rd national title but he never defeated Yuzu in competion yet, ever! But the health is the most important always, and he will live with this ankle for the rest of his life. Not only the rest of his career. So it's really important to be careful now.
  24. Ah I can't help it, I was already feeling ok after that GPF withdrawal and even a little relieved, and one out of context quote made me feel anxious again Oh how I wish to know when we will see him skating again...
