    Yep, that 3As IdF is really difficult too. Maybe the most... I really didn't know who to chose for Ice Dance... In Men I hope for a different podium that I chosen, but doubtful that Nate loses... For Ladies I'm going with Rika because I want her to have two clean programs and if that happens, clean Zhenya is not winning. Tbh she's not my fav and there's a lot of other skaters I'd like to see in the Final more than her, even if for most of them that's not possible anymore (Mai ).

    I was still upset all day and kept checking for possible new info at work (even though I know it's too soon for any meaningful one, lol). At least Brian's words cheered me a little, I choose to believe him that's not too serious for my own sanity. The fact that Yuzuru has a spot for Worlds without taking a part at Nationals was obvious, so I think that statement probably means that it's even more probable (I refuse to say certain because that's Yuzuru after all). But I'm happy he seems to be a lot less fixated on this than he would be before. Hardships really make you wise

    I remember reports that he couldn't move his right leg at all so then skating would be totally impossible, even with painkillers... But anyway he got through last year and he will again, it kinda kills me not knowing exactly how much time will be needed but can't really do anything but wait for the news... and that may not be soon.

    True, but I assumed it's not as serious, because he skated here - and he wanted to skate at NHK too, but his leg literally didn't move then... So unless his skating Origin really did a big damage (but I just try not to think about it ;;) it should be a lot better than last year. Still, I hope he will listen to doctors

    Technically, he can decide. He skated with (I assume) worst injuries before. But I hope and believe he's not the same person and will put his health first...

    Well the truth is we don't really know anything, this isn't a final diagnosis, so we will see. I just hope they're really careful with this. I'd still say GPF and nationals seem unlikely, but we can't really do anything but wait for the news.

    If I calculated right, the base value should be 91,43, and the max GOE 37,15 with the planned layout... So it would be very hard. It's one jumping pass less than before after all...

    Yes, and it's scary, especially if Yuzuru really would want to respond to it, I hope I can trust him more than that... As for Dmitriev, I fully understand why he's doing it, even if it's so dangerous and the chances are so small. He's not really a player, no chances for a place in Russian team, nothing distinctly exciting about his skating... But here's his chance for a place in figure skating history, forever. If he's confident that he's not killing himself with trying - I'm all for it. Again, please Yuzuru don't do it for wrong reason, your place in history is set

    Don't kill me but I'm excited to see any 4A attempt, also from Dmitriev. I don't think he will be succesful, but if he is, yay! (and ISU won't ratify it lightly, so no way he gets away with it if it's UR) Yuzu will do his thing in his time

    I also submitted predictions, that was really blind guessing especially for Ice Dance... But not only, all beside men's gold is not obvious...

    Predicting Men's event is so tricky... We know Yuzu never won his first GP but I don't really want to predict someone else for gold? I think I will go with my wishes, not gonna think about actual chances And wow bonus questions are getting harder

    I'm always so frustrated with late withdrawals, there's almost no chance to replace a skater then but so many skaters would love to have a chance at GP... Also, I don't know if it's official but Gabby probably withdrew from NHK too (she's not on the list anymore).
