But Shoma didn't land 4Lz though? He barely ever puts 3Lz in his programs because it's one of the biggest flutzes ever.
-
Lol Hersh doesn't have any love-hate relationship with Yuzu, he is just US media hyena, the worst possible kind. All his articles are manipulated, obviously. But Yuzu had/has worse dramas around him, and even his fans were immediately speculating about this, so I don't see real harm if you only ignore him.

I have tickets to a show in my city where J/C are supposed do skate this month and now I really don't want to go.

that's... I'm in shock. No words.

2019/2020 Season prediction game
airi replied to Old Cat Lady's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
I got potato medal -
Yeah, but if someone thought getting second OGM on half an ankle was the hardest thing he did, now we see it was really not...
-
If your right, this will be the proof that he's the ultimate sport manga protagonist
-
I know you're joking (right? ) but in case not: 1. 5T may or may not be easier technically than 4A, but it IS 0,5 rotation more, and that requires insane rotation speed which I'm not sure any adult man can achieve (I believe it may not be, but so were people saying about 4A and Yuzu is SO close, so...) [btw landing it on harness is completely different] 2. If ISU would want do assign values to quints, it won't happen in this Oly cycle for sure 3. Judging wise, it will change nothing 4. I don't want Yuzu to kill himself. I have to say I trust him less after GPF and his 4A practice but at least that is probably his biggest (achievable) dream now.
-
I have mixed feelings, but maybe he'd want a shot to win 4CC after all... There is also huge probability that Nathan doesn't go, especially because it doesn't fit his schedule at all, but who knows. But also, that would disturb his training for a week and he could use that time for training for far more important competition. I don't know what his preference here is...
-
I understand it ofc because that is huge thing, but also feel bad for (clean) Russian skaters. Also when I think last time Stolbova and Bukin and their partners couldn't go bexause of it, and not sure why...
-
Yuzu describing mechanics of 4A makes it so much more scary, if that's even possible...
-
I had a dream today that Yuzu put a quint and 4 quads in his planned content I'm not sure why, but it probably means my brain overdosed figure skating... Can't believe GPF is THIS week.

Congratulate skaters with their Birthdays
airi replied to Deliverpooh's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
Mine too, I watched it like 1000 times, absolutely love it too bad I can't watch her other program because ugh... Happy Birthday Yuna! -
After the first half of the season (and the last one too), I'm pretty sure they just won't give it to Liza, even if she lands clean quad ans 3x3A. She's not the chosen one. I can dream for now... oh how I would like it to happen. The jump is very good, btw!
-
Even if it's unstable jump it may be beneficial for her, if she falls in the short trying 3A she very likely may still make it up in the free. And if she lands it...
-
Apparantely, Sasha can 3A now. If she actually is consistent enough with it to land it in competition, that may be really game over...
-
no, trying it on unfamiliar ice without slowly warming it up in practice would be extremely dangerous, no way he would do it straight in the program. Yuzu is just not that reckless anymore. And that's not a jump that can be casually done.

huh why?

Junior Skaters of 2019/20 Season
airi replied to sallycinnamon's topic in Igloo World: Team Other Skaters
they really didn't send her to JGP this year... that's so weird. anyway it seems Tomoe or Hanna could get the second spot for JWC (if Hanna can get the minimum...), I doubt they will make the move they made with Yuna Shiraiwa last year as no junior eligible senior lady is in good form right now... expect Rika, lol doesn't look good for getting back 3 spots or next year JGP (but tbh even if Japan doesn't get 2x7 spots automatically, they will probably still get it later, unless girls bomb really hard...) -

Hanna Yoshida won bronze - is she eligible for Juniors internationally this season? also no Nana Araki in top 6 -
Junior Skaters of 2019/20 Season
airi replied to sallycinnamon's topic in Igloo World: Team Other Skaters
I just watched Mana, it was great, I hope she can do this like this at Jr Worlds! are there videos for other ladies up? I also have strong belief that Yuma will medal at Nats this year since his JGPs, with quad in the SP to add he will do it for sure, he's amazing. -
Junior Skaters of 2019/20 Season

aww, I also hope for a very bright future for little Kutovoi, let's hope he learns some harder elements soon so he's not burned in the Russian depth, because it would be a shame, I'd hate for him to share a fate of his cousin Liza Nugumanova... -
well, I was thinking about the quote "I hope that judging at our GP will be more objective than on some of other GPs.", it sound like COR is decided rest of the season, we will see.
-
lol, prepare for 115 TES for Sasha and Zhenya's +4 GOE Lutz at COR.

2019/2020 Season prediction game
airi replied to Old Cat Lady's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
argh, COC is the hardest GP do predict until now. I don't even know if any of my chosen Men's medalist will end up on the podium, it may go completely different way lol. Same with ladies, btw... also, praying circle for Sui/Han.
