This article did not have real substance. If she came all the way to attend the parade then she could have gotten more personal or at least shown more enthusiasm to get the readers into what she has to say. We're ready to listen but did she manage to find why Yuzu inspire so many people? I am not so sure if she's tried to find out that in the first place. No you do not stop at Pooh mountain if you want to get to the heart of Hanyu pond. Only way to find is dig deep into it... A quick google search could have given me a better reading material than this. And Jack, not negative doesn't mean very positive...or does it? These stats shows Yuzu's true uniqueness. Zero followers is like he's too great that the scale could not measure that greatness. Yuzu is one and only so very unique and rare being. It's almost like a mythical being... And one day this little one will introduce a big one to the world

Any dramatisation about actual person or event would have mixed review depending on who you'd ask and what you'd ask. Considering this is presented by comedian duo 'くりぃむしちゅー’, I'd imagine it is an entertainment program. Unlike a documentary which involves actual person or event, it is essentially a program providing something to watch (and enjoy) for wider audience not for a specific audience. So if you are a hard core fan of Yuzu, of course you wouldn't be satisfied with what you get from this. Seeing someone with the same hair cut, similar hight & built, same age group, etc may remind you of him but you can't help but feeling 'コレジャナイ感' (looks very similar but this is NOT IT!) I'd watch it just to see how cringe-provoking or I may even find something that I didn't know about... This program is called '掘れば掘るほどスゴイ人' (meaning deeper you dig into find out about the person, the greatness of the person gets greater) So I want to see how deeper they actually got to find out about Yuzu & his 3 months hiatus leading up to PC. But if you don't know or understand how Japanese TV stations/programs operate, I wouldn't recommend watching it. Those of you who cringed hard on 'Hanyu Yuzurenai', this program may give you even more cringe. I think I can take it even if it means watching the injury and the struggle. I may not find anything I like but if I watch it, at least I can tell if they did digging right. They are supposed to show BOrser's interview but I won't be surprised if the interview is the one that he's given to Oly channel. After all, not everyone in Japan watches YT or Yuzu news obsessively like we do. I'd say the majority of the audience wouldn't speak English either so finding out overseas news about Yuzu isn't easy because of the language barrier. If all the materials used in the program are well known old news among Yuzu fans, I'd say that's not a surprise. After all, us satellites orbit around the planet everyday so if anyone notices any news about Yuzu, we're the first to know!! Or else, our observation & analysis skills will be scrutinised Over dramatisation is another thing but I understand if they (TV station) want to sell (or milk), they might as well be turning it into a tear-jerker. If you like it or not, once you become famous, people project images of what they want to see. Everyone loves hero in crisis and miracle come back so I will be prepared & get myself a box of tissue. Just watching and reading about Yuzu makes me cry (today I watched Yuzu touching the ice at the end of Oly gala and that made me cry) so I may be fooled and cry a river over a stupid dramatisation. Who knows... One thing I hope is the information they give is as accurate as possible.

Oh I love this hashtag. I think a part of Yuzu's charm is the variety of characters he portraits on & off ice. One minute he's an adorable sweet little fairy of ice and next minute he's a fierce deity of blizzard. Either way I'm dead already...

Yuzu gets even stronger against the odds. So maybe this 'not the favourite' expectation gives him the extra reason to prove to them as well as to himself. I love the way Yuzu brings it home through the adversity. He's the true champion!!

Aghhhh, so sorry Zagi-chan! As a Japanese, I'd like to apologise for this criminally cringey character who calls himself 'Hanyu Yuzurenai' (=non-negotiable). He was a bit funny at the beginning but now he's just using Yuzu's popularity and TV stations are to be blamed for. I am scared of the thought that as long as Yuzu's popularity lasts, this character will be around on TV to milk it.

Around 2:44 after he puts the cup into the microwave, he's asked himself 'What can I do in 1min 30sec (the microwave cooking time)?' He said 'I could do all the elements (of my program) of the 2nd half' He's also said his sense of timing (of his own movements like jumps, spins, etc) is quite accurate in the sense he can judge how many seconds he needs to perform those elements. You can see it from his comments, he's always thinking about skating or something to do with skating. His brain is switched on permanently to skating channel. He's also said he liked to watch cooking programs for hours. So he knows what's required for cooking and he's probably decided to distance himself from actual cooking based on what's involved. He's weighed skating and cooking and skating was far more important for him. It makes me laugh that these people criticising him for not being independent just because his mum does cooking, etc for him. Oh well, I'd say to them to go and skate then make & break WR for 12 times. And also get 2 consecutive OGM and 4 consecutive GPF & JPN title and all the other amazing things that Yuzu's achieved and influenced. Oh and you have to start at least the age of 15... More or less, people with great achievements have some sort of flaws. If that flaw is very minor, like in Yuzu's case, inability to cook, then people making it a big deal should realise how pathetic their argument is. I always had this understanding that to be super brilliant in one thing, you can be really dumb at simple things. Universe has to work out the balance of brilliant and dumb in some ways. Also Yuzu's having inability to do certain things makes him a real human. If he's achieved all these things and also he's a master chef and F1 driver then I'd seriously doubt if he's a human!

Japanese fanyu made vid using Jpn TV program '科捜研の女' (Jpn version of CSI). While we're all waiting on more info about FaOI makuhari, some people used everything they could get their hands on to find out about Yuzu on internet. From screenshot analysis to image enhancement, and matching description against the data (Yuzu pic). The fact that everyone looked so serious made it too hilarious for me. It just pushed my laughter button so hard and I just couldn't stop laughing... If I say this in Japanese it is '笑いのツボにはまった' On this definitely made my day! Yup yup. I use fujitv fairy regularly now and watch Japanese programs whenever I want to watch. I can't wait to watch all 3 days of CWW:D
