The impression I get from his way of writing is he's trying to balance the way the articles goes and ended up missing the real point. I know this is rather old posts from over 6 months ago but I just couldn't let it pass. To me, the emotion that Yuzu's performance at Nice evokes is 「懐かしくて胸がキュンとする」 It's the feeling that you get when you look back your younger days. The memories of love, heartbreak, friendship, ect that you've once had. After you're grown up, when you see a young person in the middle of it all, you relive that moment through them. His performance brings me the feeling of young and helpless as well as desperately wanting to have something or someone that is unattainable. The feeling that I almost forgot that I've felt once comes back every time I watch this performance. Romeo yearning for Juliet. He's desperately fighting and refusing to accept the fate. When you're young, things look just black and white or all or nothing. Jumping technique or skating skills can be taught but the ability to evoke such feeling through performance is a gift. Like a painter paints a picture and a composer creates music in order to express the shape, colour or world that exist in their souls. I have never cried watching a figure skating performance before until I saw Yuzu's RJ1 Nice. Ever since, I am like a broken tap but only he knows how to turn it on

I feel like I'm a cactus after a downpour with sparkly raindrops dripping on every spiky bits of the surface. I am drowning with emotions after seen so many beautiful photos and funny things put on SNS. From what I saw today, his happy smiley face is the source of happiness for many others. His little squishy face is just so precious I can never know what really goes behind the scene or what's on his mind but one thing I can be sure of is his love for his home town and the town people love him for what he is, not just for what he has done for them. Apart from Yuzu donated the Oly bonus, the article also referring that the Miyagi prefecture office is giving Yuzu 240kg of rice that is equivalent of 4years supply. So they're supplying rice for the next 4 years leading up to Beijing Olympics that is! Well...Yuzu's got supply of his energy source and a little encouragement from Plu-sama (at CWW) to start thinking about what he's going to do in the next 4 years. New drama has already begun...

Once I start rewatching CiONTU, if something reminds me of something else, that usually sends me off to another journey into finding that little treasure. For example, at the skating tech corner with Yuzu, Mura and Sano-san, I had to go back to YT and start rewatching the series of videos with Yuzu's 3A - spread eagle entry. And after watching Yuzu's skating part (1st,2nd and 3rd day), I went to rewatch the whole of his old programs from junior years. I don't know how many more times I'm going to rewatch CWW but it is literally so exhausting every night. I have been a walking dead in the office since Monday... This is a terrible disease that I've contracted and only known cure is to watch more Yuzu stuff...or have I got it wrong?? As for the various people's posts with more serious note, I appreciate all so thank you for sharing. I am still reading them and I am determined to read through. I can relate to so many of the things that have been posted - worries, fear and the things that you cannot let go. I am one of the new fans but because of my language advantage, I have been through with Japanese online media news about Yuzu a lot before finally falling for him As a result, I have become aware of a part of Daisuke and Yuzu fan troubles as well as the issues caused by some gossip/tabloids magazines. When I go through with non-fs forums and people's blogs, I see some people just don't like Yuzu for whatever the reason that is valid for them. I think it is partially because there are so much stuff including every little things about Yuzu on media all the time. Some people in Japan are just fed up of him being the centre of attention. It could be the same reason other skaters' fans cannot tolerate Yuzu fans go crazy over him. So we just go to a designated area naming here to enjoy it. Let's just go kya kya wa wa over what we love the most. The reason I don't actively look for the things to make myself sad is because I just don't have time for it. All of my waking hours are either doing the life's essential stuff or doing something relating to Yuzu. Sometimes I have to catch myself on watching another YT video at 3:30 am on a weeknight (I get up at 7am). I can understand people being passionate about things they love but I can never understand the people who are so dedicated to make fuss over something they hate. I'd say why bother? And then I realise, it's because it bothers them! Love and hate come from the same place just going opposite direction. When I see someone going a wrong direction, I'd just say good luck to them 'cos there's nothing good awaits at the end of that road. It's already a wall of text so I'll shut up and go back to enjoy another round of CiONTU

GOAT or not, that's probably not something that anyone can decide. We can only talk about this as subjective. It is not like time race that can be measured against one to one, fs judging relies on judgment made by individuals. How do you compare the greatness of a mountain against a tiger in the jungle? If the observer sees it in the subject, nobody can deny it and also if one cannot see it, nobody can show that. I don't always trust the judges anyway but that's something else we can discuss for hours. Also, since the 'time' has no start or end, the term 'all time' can only refer to the time relevant to the observer. No matter how much the oldies say the skaters in the old days were greater, if you actually never seen them in real time, you cannot really compare to something that you're watching in front of you now. Also the conditions and focuses of fs has changed so much it makes it impossible to compare. In the old days, they had different kinds of difficulties to now but at the same token, they had more advantages than the skaters nowadays. They certainly didn't have to do quad jumps x 6 to win a gold medal (some even tried 8 times and failed to win) I can only say that I'm enjoying the view of the planet that I'm orbiting day in day out because it is shining so brightly and also showing different colours from different angles. I personally cannot see any other great stars other than this one right now. I maybe saw some lights from light-years ago but that is no longer shining brightly because the star projected the light no longer exists. I will probably never find another planet like this one until the end of my time and that is pretty much 'all time' for me. I know oranges and apples talk usually never has conclusion or agreement so I'll just leave to that.

Nobu is Yuzu's friend but sometimes the way Nobu reacts (especially at PC) is more fanboy than a friend... I'm not really sure if Rafael was serious in that video tho. I thought his family or someone close was bugging him to get Yuzu's autograph.

I've watched CWW again today and when I saw Yuzu's smile and his 'Bye bye~~' voice before Javi's video link was finished, I was like omg so insanely cute! It's the same tone of voice as when Yuzu interacted with two little girls at kids Q&A. So I have to add to my list, when Yuzu interacts with kids/bugs/plushies and birthday-Javi, Yuzu is at his sweetest:D But as soon as the video link finished, Yuzu returned to his normal self and went off to say 'Was it because of his new shoes? Javi couldn't skate at all' Poor guy Javi had to get up really really early to skate for your show, Yuzu! on his birthday!! God I love their relationship dynamics.

It's evident that Yuzu hates silver when he was talking about his skating shoes at CWW Q&A corner. He said that the custom made shoes has black blades/edge instead of normal silver ones. Gold and black combination looks like a rapper's colour scheme but white and gold would be more classy looking though I like more drama when it comes to his costume & music.
