  1. Maybe Yuzu & co come up with several choices of music and fan get to vote for their fav then use the number 1 choice as an EX. We are allowed to dream...
  2. Haha sorry to crash your dream and I'm sure Yuzu had already skated to the Godfather's theme while playing around when he's a baby mushroom And wouldn't it be nice if his future ice shows include those programs/music that had inspired him? Or even better, if he could take fans' request of music to make a program at some point...
  3. Umm but Plushy had skated to that music so even Yuzu may start to feel that's too much of showing off of his love for his idol?
  4. That soft "ツンツンっ" gives me life and Yuzu's smile after is just
  5. Thanks for the info. I skipped Milan after Yuzu announced wd and haven't watched all of them. I did see Boyang's fs on YT and was devastated then I was put off so didn't watch the rest... I'll go back and watch Shoma's fs.
  6. I agree. Shoma hasn't really discovered himself as a figure skater yet. Sometimes I wonder if he has any long term goal in figure skating. Despite of his achievement so far, I struggle to remember his absolute "This is it!" moment. Technicality and artistry alone do not make a truly great skater. I feel Shoma and figure skating are bound by "because he's nice to me, I'm staying with him for now" level of love while Yuzu and figure skating are bound by "till death do us part" level of commitment. When someone is talented with something and also is crazy about the very thing that they're good at, it can create something truly amazing and that is Yuzu's case with figure skating. But this is my personal opinion and if anyone here knows Shoma's true love moment for figure skating, I'd like to know. I really need to see him in different light as he's been in Yuzu's shadow for too long. I love the way Jun is progressing and developing He's TCC boy through and through. With his cute baby face and almost fully developed physique, the contrast creates very interesting outlook. His skating skill is coming along nicely and I like his spins too. But I feel his arm movements are too casual sometimes in choreos. Because Yuzu is so flexible and jelly like, sharpness of movements may not come naturally for him but he still manages to achieve that feeling of precise movement into his choreograph. While I was watching Helsinki GP, I couldn't help but thinking "Who is the rival for Yuzu here?" as the point difference was just ridiculous. Few commentators viewed that Nathan and Shoma would be the ones that challenge Yuzu but deep down I didn't think they could truly beat Yuzu. For point wise or podium orders, sure either of they could (and have) beat Yuzu. But to surpass Yuzu for what he's achieved in figure skating not just records but also as a whole, only Yuzu himself can do that. I can't see anybody else in the field right now can go beyond Yuzu where he is now. We'll have to leave that to future skaters who's starting point is YUZURU HANYU. I've watched different commentary SP/FS and it's funny to hear commentators praising Yuzu as "the greatest ever skater" or "GOAT". To me, some of them were just saying it like a phrase rather than complimenting him. It is so rare to have 2 time olympic gold medalist still competing and showing he's hungry for more. For them to get used to the idea that Yuzu is here to stay and win again, it'll take a little more while. For me, I know this will never happen again in my life time so I'm going to make most of it and be gracious for every piece of Yuzu
  7. It's interesting to see different views about Origin. For me, I get a vibe of Evil King or Evil God from the ominous atmosphere that he creates through his expression but then Japanese mythical god and evil god is probably a bit different from the existence that monotheism refers as the GOD/Demon. I am not Shintoist but I can relate to the concept - the things that can affect you or moves you are all gods. The Sun is a god and there are gods who protect mountains, ocean, forests to keep the balance/create harmony of this world. I have this understanding of Hope and Legacy's theme being the nature that relate to 八百万の神 (Yao yorozu no kami). Thousands of gods reside in wind, trees, rivers and all these natural things that surround us. Origin is on the dark side perhaps but even an evil god has to act in a way to keep the balance of the world. I don't think Yuzu is playing GOD but he could be portraying a god that had created his skating world. Not sure if you get what I'm trying to say but his Japanese background should be considered when you think about god/evil. Having said that, I thought Yuzu was particularly scary during fs in Helsinki. I believe that was due to his concentration level being maxed out after kuyashii driven training prior to the competition. After ACI he said 「最短で強くなりたい」(not sure if we have a translated interview after ACI but it means "Want to become the strongest in the shortest time"), so his kuyashii worked a bit too well this time I am glad that Otonal and Origin is paired up this season. It highlights Yuzu's versatility as a skater and a performer. And I couldn't be happier after seeing HYK. It was just heavenly and he was the sweetest cherry blossom fairy whose pure beauty can heal those wounded by the evil king From autumn through to winter then spring, his skating then continued to "hot" summer in gala finale - that zusaaa and things followed just killed me And I just can't believe we do this all over again in less than 10 days... I'm still trying to catch up with all the pics/videos/blogs and also some sleep...

  11. I've read the first section and ended up buying the ebook. I'm going to read it tonight and got a feeling I need another box of tissues...
  12. Where I live, it's hay fever season so I don't need to chop onions. I openly cry my eyes out holding a box of tissue saying "this season's really bad for my hay fever". My nose and eyes are red and my voice sounds like crooked witch.
  13. Hahaha Yuzu is telling them off that they're not wearing pants! The jumps are protesting that Pooh doesn't normally wear pants!
  14. Holy...No we can't die before Helsinki... Why...this cannot be legal...
  15. Hello! I've just sent some via Paypal. Sorry it's not much but AU$ is not strong against Euro at the moment...
  16. I've searched before and found that Kiyozuka actually had a recorded version of Haru Yo Koi on CD back in 2016 (No5 春よ、来い) but that was much shorter version NB he did record it. So it depends on if the bonus track is actually newly recorded ice show version or the existing one, we still cannot say for sure... Anyway, we will find out really soooooon!!! I just cannot wait to see Yuzu with game face ON
  17. I love this artist's characterization of Yuzu. H&L Yuzu is leading the team Origin the evil king and Otonal the serene prince. The characters from Moomin are accompanying them too saying "Origin-sama powerful", "Origin-sama does not get electric shock" (those two white creatures can give electric shock if you get too close) and "You are a prince aren't you? I could tell straight away". Many of you may know this but there's a Japanese anime of Moomin and we grew up with these characters too. Finland is very far from Japan but we have something in common that can help bring the two countries closer despite the geological distance. I have a really good feeling about Yuzu in Helsinki and hope that feeling come true
  18. Pooh envied the Shikigami chan (jump babies) for their ability to jump. Yuzu gave them baked sweet potatoes as snacks. Sweet potatoes are known to give you "winds". Pooh got an idea. Finally, Pooh helped by the snack was able to fly thanks to the "winds" he's got from the sweet potatoes. I love the artist's sense of humor!
  20. I did watch this one too...I think it's on Jack's YT recommendation list not him stalking us!! To have Yuzu video appear on the recommendation list, Jack must have been watching quite a few of Yuzu videos as often as...everyday? It's official!! Jack is one of the satellites!! We should give him an honorary satellite membership
  21. Awww! This looks so good already!! The new CM will be on air 1st of Nov - the first day of Heskinki GP! I love these two interacting with each other like this. Shuzo is such a passionate guy. At the beginning when Shuzo said "Olympics are coming to Tokyo", Yuzu replied "I think the whole nation of Japan will get hot". I don't know if you know but people always joke about wherever Shuzo goes, the temperature rises because of his passionate attitude towards everything especially sports. I don't know if their interactions are scripted (prob are) but they seem to feed off with each others' positive vibe. i wonder when they shot this and also makes me teeny bit worried as Yuzu's voice's a bit nasal...stay healthy my dear boy....
  22. This one is funny!! Japanese commentator called Kurt "God of skating". And also he commented "Lost his hair but gained his skills"...it's a bit rude Yes! A jazz number for ex would be wonderful!!
  23. About Yuzu and his signature moves. I don't think he needs to keep all his fav elements if that is too much for the programs' sake. But I can't recall the times when I thought "this is too much" about his signature moves within his past programs/performances. Hydro in Seimei and H&L give totally different feel even though the fundamental movements are the same . They simply hold different meaning in each programs. However, I can see why some of the satellites are not convinced that Yuzu should keep his moves. I believe the key is in the performance itself. For me, not all the movements in ACI Origin were connected well enough to become the integral part of the program. Some movements seemed rather scattered therefore the story was not seamless to me to get their meaning in the program. I believe the reduced 30 seconds had impacted on the rhythm of story build up. Yuzu needs a little bit more time to choose and set each elements into its rightful place. ACI is a challenger series competition so Yuzu could afford to try out his first drawing to feel the whole program without worrying too much about the result. I think that's what it was - trial run for the first time in front of the audience. Yuzu will have to get the balance right in terms of how the story goes with each elements and if he finds he can't fit all the moves to create a story, he may have to change some to make it work. I think Yuzu's weakness as well as strength is his sensitivity. His body and mind both suffer and excel because of his sensitivity. Another of his weakness and strength is his stubbornness. Weakness or strength, you can use it to your advantage or it can throw you off completely. Yuzu will definitely need to control how much/when to use each. It is good to know that he's still developing in a sense as a person as well as a skater despite the fact he's a two time olympics champion. How amazing...
  24. This is supposed to be for P&G mothers' support. They measured the suits size incorrectly and ended up making them too large for the Shikigami-z (jump babies).
