Me too... also I have soft spot for Yuzu with glasses as well...

With new Yuzu contents coming out, we still feel a bit sad about gpf WD as well as feeling a bit anxious about JNats and further comps. But I am not as sad or depressed as before about it. Yuzu will come back when he's ready and that is a definite thing. While I wait for that, I am going to watch all of Yuzu's senior competitions chronologically. As you follow videos one year after another, you can really see the progress he's made since he debuted in senior circuit back in 2010-2011. I'm using the PH own library of Yuzu videos. I love visiting this library whenever I want to trace Yuzu's skating journey. I am also reading Brian's new book again and as I read through, my appreciation for Brian as well as the whole of TCC just got stronger. Yuzu couldn't have been the skater he is now without them. TCC's method of building strong foundation first in terms of skating skill then build other skills up from there was the right thing for Yuzu. Also a private club means you can have strict control on everything and that can create the right environment for skaters to grow and flourish without having to worry about distractions. Media and SNS control is one thing that Yuzu needed especially after winning Sochi Olys. I feel a real pity that this book is published only in Japanese. Maybe we can ask the publisher about the possibility of eBook in English. The book is based on Brian's own words that's being translated into Japanese so the original in English should exist somewhere. Having said that, I'm also wondering maybe Brian wants to publish the whole journey with Yuzu, Javi and other skaters one day with his own publisher so maybe having it in English may take a bit longer...

They celebrate because they know if Yuzu is in GPF, their fave's chance of winning would become very slim. I kind of get the mentality but won't envy their current position or hate them. Celebrating someone's misfortune will never add good fortune on your side. Anyway, it's in GOAT's nature to climb steep mountains aiming for the top and you just cannot change the way. I hope Yuzu use this time to catch up with the people who he's missed and have quality time with his family as well as do whatever he fancies till the heart's content. I know he may be thinking that he cannot enjoy knowing he's let down people but for once, I really want him to stop thinking others over himself. He has done more than enough to make so many people happy. Dear Yuzu, nothing is overdue except your well deserved holiday. Come to down under we're heading summer over here!! We will welcome you!!!

Considering the amount of ice shows, DVDs, commercials, and documentaries that featured Yuzu, it's about time he's recognised with "Filmography" and all that to go with movie/dvd/TV industry But PC OWG 2018 being categorised as "TV Mini-series", it was more like epic drama for all of us fanyus It was definitely once in a life Olympic experience... This little Yuzu emoticon really shows how deep Yuzu's love for skating and wants to have fun while he works hard for perfecting his art. He has said that he wants to compete in the environment where everyone gives everything they've got and come out victorious. And if he loses to someone who had given everything they've got, Yuzu would be kuyashii but would be happy for the person and for the sake of figure skating (don't mind me, I'm just a bit emo as usual after watching CoR Otonal & Origin again...). Who'd thought a little pic of Yuzu can evoke such an emotion... Now that all GPs are done and GPF getting closer, some uneasiness are growing in terms of how the final list of men's GPF qualifier will turn out. Aside from my personal struggle or everyone else's in trying to accept whatever the outcome, what I really hope is Yuzu's decision over going or not going can be made based on what's best for him. The thing is, he is in the position where, like it or not, many big organisation rely on for promoting the event (and JNats for that matter too). So I really don't want to see media trying to make him feel guilty in any ways over this. And it seems CBC Olympics had jumped on the gun and drawn a picture that they want to see. I do understand where they stand in terms of supporting their own skater as the host country of the event. BUT, I just find that a bit inconsiderate especially when nothing has been officially announced yet. Some of us are still very hopeful for the last minutes miracle to happen. Yes anybody can dream about anything and put on the internet. Still, those kinds of "would be nice if~" should be done more privately like in this forum dedicated to Yuzu. Having Yuzu photo on the list adds more salt to the wounds...

Yuzu in Japan (Tokyo/Sendai)... I know the diagnosis will be out soon and am difficult to be calm so I wanted to post something to cheer up. Also, while he's in Japan, I just want him to have as much fun as possible. He will need to have good amount of protein for injury recovery (in this video, there are 3 different types of protein - egg/meat, tofu/soy and fish). Have you also seen the PH Demographic listed on the page? We are from all over the world!! I hope people understand CBC Olympic did this video clip and CBC broadcasting for figure skating should not be mistaken as the same people as Kurt clearly loves Yuzu!!

Thanks for this. Yuzu's love affair with Russia is not one sided that's for sure!! I love reading about different people appreciating Yuzu especially the people involved in figure skating. They understand the difficulty of the sport and because they know that, their appreciation means a lot for him (I think). Japanese media and ordinary people sometimes fail to see the extent of Yuzu phenomenon outside Japan and things like these (Russian figure skating world's appreciation) should be shown more. Earlier topic of CBC Yuzu clickbait (or re-tweet bait) has went on for many pages so don't want to drag but I just want to put what I thought of it so I'll put in in the spoiler. I think we as fanyus need to grow thicker skin and laugh, side eyes or roll eyes to heaven to these rubbish and just don't take them seriously or get offended. We don't start attacking them as that is what the majority of controversial articles/videos want.

I know...it's really a disgrace especially when you think about the dollars they make by acting up like this. They might as well be Hollywood actors. Oh Kazu-kun!! He's such a cutie... ******** I'm still processing the whole situation since Sat. Watched sp and fs over and over. Otonal's pure beauty hits me every time I watch. It's so beautiful it hurts me so much and reduces me to tears. Re-watching fs is harder but Yuzu and his beautiful spirit emerging through the program grips me every time. Just think about his poor ankle literally gives me pains in the stomach... I have some thoughts that I need to get it off the chest and because it's sensitive topics, I will put it under spoiler so those who do not wish to be down or in emotionally fragile state, please do not read.

Yes this! It didn't even come into my mind that he's wearing Origin costume with his natural hair style!!! When I saw Yuzu holding the medal up and smiling like an angel with the hair, I thought "God! he looks so sweet like his usual self" and never even thought about Origin the evil king costume looks odd without the push back hair style. I admit I was an emotional wreck when I was watching the ceremony so Yuzu could have been wearing a potato sack and still I wouldn't have thought anything of it...

I will pray for him now. Zu probably took precaution to make sure his condition is optimal for fs later on.

110.53...just another day at the office for Yuzu, Brian and Ghislain Yuzu after PC is definitely a new man with whole new mindset and attitude. Yes he's still super competitive. Yes he's still hard working. Yes he's still insanely focused and pays attention to the smallest detail of his performance. But he does all these through not his old way of tunnel vision but more open minded and free and from a bird's eye view. It seems he is taking everything in and is appreciating everyone and everything that enabled him to skate. With 2OGM, he's paid his due (to the homeland, to the people in disaster area, to the fans, etc) so now his focus has shifted to finding that ideal skate of his own. Ofc he still wants to win but that is a by-product of his perfect skating so it's a win-win situation for Yuzu getting closer to his ideal skating. Nobody can stop now. Not that he could be stopped before but...

Oh these photos...all killer no filler... Sweet bby smile just melted my heart... When did he make time to do all these commercial shoots. He is so dedicated for whatever he does. Call me shallow or whatever you like but I admit I love seeing Yuzu doing non-skating stuff in non-skating costumes/clothes. Yes he is an athlete (and super elite one too) but he looks so natural in front of cameras and the cameras love Yuzu. Him wearing knitted jumper and scarf gives old fashioned "good boy" feel. You know? One of those boys that mothers love to have as a son-in-law. I guess Lotte knows its target consumers very well I have no sweet tooth so won't be tempted to try Yuzu's concoction but if he's going to hand out a cup of hot chocolate with that smile, I'd make an exception anytime

The ice show version is longer than that so hopefully the bonus track on Shinya's new album is the one that Yuzu uses for his ex...

This version was recorded & released back in 2016. I believe Shinya's releasing a new album in Dec that will include Haru Yo Koi as a bonus track. So hopefully he has re-recorded the ice show version...?

Don't let T*L ruin your mood this week. What I think of T*L is this...

I believe anybody can draw people including the celebrities without needing to have a permission to do so. If the artwork is based on a copy right material (photos or other artwork), it will require the copyright owner's permission to make that into artwork. But if it's used as a merchandising, it may require permission of some sort but I don't really know. If the artwork is a private one with no commercial value, I don't think people will seek permission (they just use it anyway). Besides all legal stuff, it makes me LOL to think T*L wants to make money using the people whom they clearly don't know how to appreciate. Many of Japanese fanyus may not realise what T*L said about Yuzu before and could fall into a trap of "Yuzu goods" and just buy them anyway. I've seen on YT before that some Japanese fanyu's created a video appreciating Philip Hersh's words about Yuzu thinking he's praised Yuzu...
