I don't think Yuzu will create another ice show this year. Last year was special because it was the Olympics year as well as he's won the 2nd OGM. But apart from FaOI, I believe it's already been decided that he will do P&G talk shows in between FaOI shows. Though we don't know how many shows that Yuzu is going to do but he will try to do as many shows as possible just as long as he's healthy... Last year was really special as Yuzu did all FaOI shows and Heroes and Futures shows on top of CwW. But you'll never know, Yuzu being extra(terrestrial) special, he may have some surprises for his fans. We'll pray wait and see

Yuzu's ahoge gives me LIFE!!! Miss him so much

I've filled out doodle...I've missed out the last time so hoping to make it this time!!

The first one is about Yuzu arriving in PC airport and Haru chan from the future is asking him if he can see Haru chan. Haru chan is also telling Yuzu "Do you know? You're going to win consecutive OGM" and Yuzu replies "OFC I am only after gold" Also he adds "And perhaps I think I know you as well" The second picture is about AERA photo shoot. Ori chan said he's won paper rock scissors with Yuzu. Oto chan is covering Haru chan with blanket I love the artist's characterisation of Yuzu's programs! The third one is about Valentine's day. From right to left, Ballad no.1 muttering "It's definitely quality" LGC looking at Origin and declared "I've got more!". Origin is saying "It's not the quantity but the heart as mine is hand-made (though it's from Haru chan...)" Otonal cannot take all in and don't know what to do. Swanyu is asking "Haru chan what are you doing?" H&L is looking at Haru chan muttering "Ah directly from the creator" and Haru chan is getting into the box saying "I'm going to Javi's and hand this to him" And finally Seimei is chanting 天地無用　天地無用 means "This way up/Do not turn upside down" (google translate will translate this "Heaven and earth are useless!") Happy Valentine's Day!!

They're so cute!! The ones in the igloo are saying "winter time is cold indeed" The one standing next to the snowman is saying "It looks just like me!" The one pulling the sleigh with Pooh is saying "Heaveeeey!"

I'd say they use the point where the jumping edge/toe leaves for the starting point and measure the distance travelled to the point where the landing edge touches the ice. I believe Fuji is going to broadcast WC so they probably want to show off IceScope there. I'm interested to see how all men's 3A measure up!

Not sure but I'd imagine the distance is measured from the ice take off to the landing in straight line... but why do you want to know?

I've been so busy at work for the past month or so and I don't really have energy left after a hard day to go searching for unseen Yuzu videos. Recently when I'm on YT, I don't watch just fs but also the videos of people who eat lots and lots of food... I've found them fascinating and strangely soothing so I just can't stop watching their videos. But anyway, while I binge watching those videos, I've also found some fresh lettuce or sea weed to nibble on...it's a high quality video and I'm sure it's been posted somewhere on the planet before but hey recycle is good for the planet!! I'm a dried up cactus satellite and anything that has glitter and skating boots can be digested nicely during the drought.

These are about 節分=Japanese seasonal event that usually takes place just before the beginning of spring 立春 (based on old calendar). It is usually around 4th of Feb. The event is made up with 鬼 = a troll and people throw roasted beans to rid of evils in order to usher new season in. When you throw beans at the troll, you shout 鬼は外、福は内 (troll's out, fortune's in). You also eat roasted beans the same number of your age to protect yourself from evil. The first picture is based on a children's song called まめまき(throwing beans) it goes おにはそと　　　　(troll's out) ふくはうち (fortune's in) ぱらっ　ぱらっ (patter patter) ぱらっ　ぱらっ (patter patter) まめのおと (sound of beans) おには　こっそり (troll's quietly) にげていく (fleeing) The second picture is about Origin chan borrowed Haru chan's (HYK) tiger skin pants and ended up all trolls came to worship him wanting him to be their boss. Japanese folklore tells you that trolls wear tiger skin pants. The third picture is about throwing beans and trolls then cleaning up after it. Also H&L, Swanyu and Ballad no1+pooh in the kotatsu table are eating ehoumaki 恵方巻き. 恵方巻き became popular recently and it is a seasonal event that involves eating a whole big sushi roll without saying a word while facing the lucky direction (it changes every year) to bring good luck. I know it sounds wired and superstitious but for chasing evil spirits to bring good luck in, there are many wired festivals all over the world I believe so these are among them

Aww... Yuzu, can you stretch a bit higher or cut few inches of the shirt hems plz? When I checked US nats scores, I just laughed. It's just so US - Bigger the better! Give away 10's and +5s. And Johnny's comment? I understand he's patriotic but his association with Yuzu got him into hot sticky mud. He shouldn't have put that Yuzu-kun comment really. No need. Yuzu is the one to beat when it comes to figure skating record so he's dragged into it every time someone skates with big scores. But we don't need to fight for Yuzu. He will answer all the questions when he's on the ice. HE WILL DO WHATEVER NECESSARY TO LET THE WORLD KNOW THAT HE'S THE KING. Or at least that's what I think he'd do. No freaking other way to make those people understand. And also, you can make up scores but the world falls silence when Yuzu skates those magical performances. You cannot fake that. Nobody other than Yuzu can do that. Well, to me anyway. You can score anything if you want really. It is almost like name a price of an art. If you think you'd pay a million dollar for an old pot, that's the value you see in the object. I came to realise the fs judging is not done objectively but it's always in subjectively. Unless you're the judge, ofc you'll not be satisfied with it. But somehow Yuzu is fighting to make those blind eyes peeled to see the utter beauty that he creates through his skating. It's up to them to see it. Bringing back LGC sounds crazy but fun. But I love Otonal already so I don't see any point of changing it bc of Johnny's slip of a tongue comments. I'd like to see Yuzu absolutely having a ball at WC and if he's satisfied with his performances, I don't think I care what happens after that.

Boys are all grown up... I got really emotional looking at this photo as if I've been through the 7 years that they'd spent together training. I hope they stay in touch somehow and enjoy their reunions from time to time through ice shows and events. I believe Javi's not just a training mate but more like an older brother that Yuzu never had. End of an era but this is not a farewell. Javi will have to skate at Yuzu's future CwW in person not a video link!! Gracias Javi. Te extrañaremos.

Not sure if this has been posted before somewhere in PH but I've found a post about this on a fanyu's blog. The photo of the signed card from 15yr old Yuzu thanking the towel maker for the towels that were given to him with a gift from a fan at an ice show. The card is displayed at the maker's showroom. The towel maker is called 七福タオル (Seven lucky towel) and when the fan (not the fanyu blogger) was looking for suitable gifts for the skaters of the ice show (skaters like Plushenko, Lambiel and young Yuzuru), she had visited the towel maker thinking their quality Imabari towels would make ideal gifts. At the towel maker's showroom, a towel sommelier went through with the fan choosing gifts from vast varieties of the towels to find suitable one for each skater. After they've chosen all the gifts, the sommelier brought out a bunch of small hand towels saying they are give away gifts from them as an appreciation for the purchase and asked her to use it for cleaning windows or something. The fan had an idea that these small towels would be ideal for the use of maintenance of skate boots/blades. Also, she thought Yuzu would benefit with these the most since he had no sponsors at that time. The fan's posted her comment with a name "銀" at the bottom of the page explaining how the thank you card from Yuzu ended up in their showroom. The post says: I said thank you to Hashida-san (the towel sommelier) and also mentioned that I was going to give Hanyu senshu the hand towels. And I had given Hanyu senshu the towel that I bought and the hand towels and mentioned in a line within my fan letter to him that the hand towels were given by Seven Lucky Towel company. Later, I received a letter from Hanyu senshu thanking me for the fan letter and the gift. Also a thank you card for Seven Lucky Towel company was enclosed within. I was so touched by his gesture as I could imagine hundreds of letters and cards are given to him by fans and yet he finds time to go through each one of them and replies to them. So I had visited the showroom again to hand the signed card to them. ********* People can pretend to be nice and all smiley but what distinguish a diamond from an artificial gem stone is the quality that never changes. A diamond brilliance never fades away and like Yuzu's genuine appreciation for the fans and the people who support him, it always shine through even in the tiniest details. I just love the way he is. I am thankful that I can appreciate him like I do and feel sorry for the antis that living in hell with envy and jealous.

この動画を音量上げて何度も再生して見たんですが、最初は「行ぐべ」？かなと思ったけど聞いてるうちに「行くぜ」って言ってるようにも聞こえました。でもその後確かにどこにも行ってないから、自分を鼓舞する為に気合い入れただけかなと思う。 羽生くんの方言っぽい動画って、小学生の頃を追っていたドキュメンタリーとか、高校でクラスメートとやりとりしてるところとか、方言かな？っていう感じの言葉遣いも出て来るけど彼が方言で話してる動画自体はあまりないですよね。なんかバリバリの東北訛りとかを朴訥な感じで喋ってくれたら違う魅力を発見しそう
