***** Reading few of the last pages and found quite a few satellites work within healthcare system...so do I. I work for finance section of health department providing the finance services to the metro hospitals of the city where I live. Because I don't work in the frontline of the actual medical service, my working condition is quite good compared to those who work in the hospitals. But I do get stressed over workload piling up sometimes. Watching Yuzu videos can soothe my tired soul and free me from the stress of daily grind.

Yuzu has his own system of awarding so the points given by the judges come second to that... I'm sure if Yuzu truly focuses on getting more points, he'd ditch *the sequence but I think the seq thingy is his little pride and pleasure of "I do it because I can" kind of things. He's allowing himself to have a little fun after all Whatever the new season brings, I just hope Yuzu can have the full season with the minimum disruption (whatever the form that is...) Off season has started but we've had quite a few Yuzu feed this week and I'm not going to complain...

He said he practiced (4A) before the ice shows but there are still many aspects that he feels not enough. And he said 「自分の中では20％もいってないな」now, these his words did not specify what this 20% refers to. He certainly did not say anything about success rate (成功率). So when you think about what is Yuzu's 100% refers to when it comes to his jumps, his 100% would usually include difficult entry and out not to mention it is seamlessly incorporated into the programs. So my take on the actual success rate of 4A for Yuzu is more than 20% (1 in 5). While I was having my lunch and came back to finish my post, @KatjaThera had already posted what I was going to say I have no doubt that he's landed 4A many times before but not to the standard that he's satisfied for putting into his program. Also he's said he will take full responsibility for his words (about 4A) and will not change it. He's said 有言実行 (say word with action). For Yuzu, 4A business is not just one-off thing (landing at a competition with +GOE) but to tame the legendary creature to become one of his weapons. He has said that 4A is no longer a mere dream for him but it is a real thing. I read that as he would like to add 4A just like he acquired other quads. Go beyond one's ideal even though the ideal exists beyond one's limit. That is what Yuzu's aiming at. I will triple my prayer for him...

The month of June in Japanese old calendar (moon calendar) is called 水無月 (means "no water month"). This is funny as usually June is rainy season in Japan with Gregorian calendar.

For the first time in my life, I'm thinking about going to an ice skating competition...but being where I am (Perth, Australia) travelling time will be over 27hrs to Canada...The price of flights around $1800 but the all event ticket that are still left around $200+ so that's not too bad. However, I'd rather go to NHK as I can see my parents then fly to Sapporo (1hr) and stay 3 nights then come back and have more time in Japan...if only I can get a ticket...

Last year, Yuzu broke the curse of non-gold at the first GP comp so this year, well and truly the Canadian silver curse should be sorted! But pleeeeze skating god, do not ask for sacrifice of a living GOAT to break the curse...

Oops sorry but the NHK venue is in Sapporo/Hokkaido so it'll be at the north island of Japan relatively closer to Sendai. I've mixed up with the JNats venue (Yoyogi Stadium). The 2016 NHK was held in Sapporo.
