I took out my husband for lunch and strolled around the boat harbour today. It's the beginning of autumn where I live and it was sunny and the temperature was around 26 celsius. We sat in a burger shack and I had sliders and apple cider. We watched the world go by while we had a burger each. We've been on diet since the beginning of January so having this lunch was a real treat. Anyway, while we're out and enjoying the world and appreciating life, my thought went back to Yuzu's sp. After the popped sal, I couldn't really enjoy his performance as I was too nervous so when we got home, I went on YT and watched it again. What matters to me the most was there all along but I was too scared to see it the first time. My stupid tunnel vision hid it from me when I was watching the live stream. The performance was beautiful CoR performance had more edge but this performance had something else that captured me. I saw Yuzu's vulnerability and strength. I think I will cherish this performance with the mistake and all. Thank you Yuzu for a beautiful performance

I am so grateful for the planet and the satellites for the support. Though I've been through PC, the fact that those programs (Ballad no1 & SEIMEI) were like Yuzu's old friends that he knows well and they know him well too so they could really help him. But having 2 completely new programs for the season and getting over an injury that forced him to be away from the competitions over 3 months during the season is really a big thing. I guess Yuzu being extra nervous is really a natural reaction. I feel drained right now but luckily I'm off tomorrow (yay good job to book myself a day off a month ago). I'll go out for a nice lunch tomorrow with my hubbie to appreciate life. All these bad thoughts about the judges and the unfair world order makes me forget we're still much much better off than when we're before PC.

I've been busy today and couldn't check the planet earlier but feel relieved that it doesn't look like there's Yuzu sighting today Still, I bet any money on that come tomorrow, he'd be there practicing among other skaters as if he's never left Japan in the first place. I can't believe we are going to see him competes in 4days!! Thinking "Come spring" all this time while Yuzu's away and now it feels the spring is bringing the full bloom sakura storm to blow everyone away. He'd look gorgeous in front of that lovely sakura K&C. He is the snow skin fairy (雪肌精) and the sakura fairy after all.

Happy St Patrick's Day!! Those who live in Europe/America may have to wait for a bit longer but where I live, it is already Sunday, 17th of March! And the creature in the pic is not really a goat but is a unicorn (hence leprecorn not leprechaun) ...anyway, I still think it's appropriate for our overlord

Oh I LOVE his smile in this photo He looks happy, calm but excited at the same time. I feel his fire being quietly ignited behind the smile. He's been injured, rehab'd, training and now ready to take on the world again in front of the home crowd in the homeland. He may be feeling the pressure building up around him but he is like the eye of the storm - calm, clear and in control. Whatever awaits, one thing I wish for him is to be able to perform the best in his ability at the time and that he'd be happy when he's finished.

I was sad that I couldn't get these lovely Yuzu stamps bc I live outside Japan but someone said you can get someone to gift them so I asked my brother. And he sent them to me I have sent him a big Yuzu THANK YOU. I never thought I come out of the closet over silly little things like line stamps... No I have no regret! Now I can ask him to buy CwW T shirt or photo books!!

Well the xylitol costume is not the worst in my book. I can put up with the gold/yellow frills as long as Yuzu keeps smiling To me, Dory the WoW is worse than xylitol prince of frills. Mind you, Yuzu's costumes cannot exist on their own without the overlord inside so it's not the costume but the whole effect of what they do when Yuzu wears them is the judging point for me...

I've only sent her an email with few links to my fav Yuzu sites and ISU live streaming (she didn't know that's existed). I'd like to lead her into the Yuzu pond slowly as I don't want to scare her off but you know...I'm jiggling in my head like a crazy woman possessed with dancing fever. YES I HAVE A FANYU FRIEND WITH WHOM I CAN SHARE THIS FEELING!!

Yep. I've sent her the link to the Planet already. But she's not sure about her English so she may just lurk here but at least she will be able to enjoy all the commotion we'd make when the worlds happens in March.

I've just found out today that one of my Japanese friend who also lives in Perth is a fanyu!!! I can't believe I've known her for about 8 years but didn't know anything about it. The funny thing is, my husband had ran into her in a shopping centre so they've had coffees together. And my husband must have complained about me binge watching fs and that's when she's said it's the same for her. She's told him that she watches anything and everything to do with Yuzu. What a small world!! Or birds of a feather Hanyu together!?

Ahahah it's the same program that I fell for Yuzu! The timing fooled us though because it's after PC olympics.

"training" is different to "rehab on ice" and by him stating "training", it clarifies that he's had all clear from the medical team. Back in Dec, he was not "training" though he may have been on ice for "rehab". Anyway, those who would like to say things about Yuzu's absent from nationals are not going to love him for whatever he does or doesn't. So it's not worth worrying about them.
