Don't worry Yuzu will be fine. I think Japanese fs fans (non fanyus) need reality check to know who is the BOSS. I'm expecting that is what going to happen there. Plus the NHK venue is located in Tokyo/Kantou (north-east) not Osaka/Kansai (south-west) where many of the fs fundamentalist seem to reside so we'll be okay

Yes...it's a real shame that Dai these days is quite different to what he was once before the retirement. Also JSF pushing the wrong direction instead of supporting the next generation so I really gave up on all of them...

If Dai is not quite ready by then but if Dai wants it, JSF will make it happen...

Oh well...I have to book some time off around SCI as the time zone is quite hard for me...

NHK will have full of my favs!! Uncle Voronov is stationed at NHK for the past few years A-Moz, Misha, Jason and Sota! Wow wow But I have a feeling that the 3rd Jpn spot TBD could be "senpai"....but then again, he'll have to get the minimum TES before that so that'll be interesting.

And also you can tell from which competition if you see a part of a performance with Yuzu's expression and movements... I was remembering this old Japanese music game show where the contestants were given one second (or maybe not even that) of an intro part of a song and they can tell the name of the song. Trained fanyus can reach that level of knowledge with Yuzu's performance by heart. I, too, am in the process of that training everyday!!

A thought of Yuzu filled weekends starting at the end of May made me so happy but can't help feeling a bit guilty. It's because a part of me fearing that Yuzu may still not be recovered fully but had decided to do ice shows bc he knows fans are missing him. I strongly hope he should know what's doable and what's not for his current condition (or is it more like what matters to him the most at a particular moment like at CoR...). Anyway, if he's decided ice shows are doable, I'm just going to enjoy whatever Yuzu decides to show us. Last year, our thread of Faoi was full of wtf and wth at the debut of Dory the WoW. I can't wait!!!! Streaming party would be great What will we get this year? Can Yuzu come up with something that can exceed space kitty or cherry blossom fairy?

LOL! All of the styling have more or less 4/5 stars on 女子ウケ (popularity among girls/pulling power) but they should have put a caption "ただし羽生くん/イケメンに限る" (only if you're Hanyu or handsome/good looking)

I'm sure this has been posted before somewhere here or other thread but I was missing him so much today but watching this video soothed my dried up cacti heart and watered my eyes so just wanted to share it with you. I love one of the comments posted on this video - "He is the wind, the air, the clouds, the rays of sunlight through the forest, the streams that leap down the moss". I agree as that is exactly what I see and feel when I watch this performance at WC 2017. It makes me tear up every time I watch. This performance has everything - all of the elements exist on this planet - the mother nature surrounds all of us living things and the sprit of the planet itself. Yuzu can be a gentle breeze that travelling through a lush forest or a little tornado making mischief with that small axis of his quads. I felt that Finland must have deep connection with Yuzu's existence because this performance is one of a kind that it had to happen there and nowhere else. A history was made on this day at this place and we will always remember that. I haven't been posting comments for the past several days here and have missed the 2nd anniversary so it's very late but I say it now - Happy Anniversary Planet Hanyu! Thank you so much for the admins & mods for your tremendous effort for keeping this place well organised, safe and packed full of information relating to our special boy! And thank you so much for all satellites for sharing your love, photos, videos, news, thoughts, laughs, and life. It's been over a year since I joined and I can't believe how fast the past 12 or 13 months had passed. I'd like to continue enjoying my fanyu life of the ups and downs with all of you guys. I've seen some news regarding Dai's next season plan. It basically mentioned he will not be competing internationally and would like to concentrate on national competitions (not sure how many national competitions apart from the nationals). I've found JSF's decision to list Dai on special athlete a bit unfair for other skaters based on Dai's lack of commitment for international competitions. To be listed as special athlete, they're expected to return lot more "results" for the country/federation. So while Dai wants to have more fun in the house, the funding could have used for someone else who needs them to go lot further especially if that someone is young and hopeful. Sure, Yuzu has enough funding too I guess but Yuzu has brought results every year for the country.
