Proposed changes for next season

John Cage, please, if it doesn't pass. Also, wow, people are reading that thing? -
It doesn't, though. It makes it more quad based, as now there will be focus on landing the quads perfectly to get more points with fewer jumps => more set-up time => less "artistry". They lost the 30s to breathe between elements. If they'd kept the 30s, then it would have made it less quad jump centred, as they would have had more time to breathe between the quads.

Maaan I am not being paid enough. >.>

Oh, I agree. I just wanted to point out how we as fans, whom it actually affects far less (and really not at all), are worried more about it. We could take a hint! I love his attitude.
-
We're more worried than Boyang about it all.
-
What happened?
-
This guy has really expensive tastes.
-
I'd be down for it, but he'd hate it apparently. :'( I must say, whatever happens, I have faith in all of them. Even if Boyang doesn't get to go to Orser, and even if all the pairs are shook up, I have complete faith that all of them will keep improving and delivering at the high level as they always have. I don't expect that to change, though coaching changes will certainly accelerate that process a lot. I just want them all to not be politicked against, you know?

The summer is going to be long for us Team China supporters. Just hope everything works out.

Who is that woman? Is Xiaoyu Yu out? EDIT: Yeah, looks like Li, to me, too.

I'm interested in the max-layout triples people will use. Chen will still do only one 3A, so what else is he adding? Will he train a 3Lz-1Lo-3F, or lose points? Other than that, 4F-3T, and 4T-3T, right? The others can all do 2 3As, so for instance, Hanyu will do 3A, and 3A-1lo-3S, along will 3Lz. As will Jin. Only thing these two need to do is remove the 3F. Or train a 3A-1Lo-3F, like Uno. (And Hanyu needs a stable 4S-3T, and Jin either needs his 4Lz combo in LPs, or needs to train a 4T-3T). So with the people we know, it starts balancing out. Chen no longer can bear that much of an advantage. His 4S and 4Lo are weak anyway, and everyone else has three stable (better in the case of Hanyu and Jin) quads. Well, and Uno needs to focus on stabilising everything except his triples and 4T.

*ahem* judge might even place *ahem* skater 3rd in PCS, and... ELEPHANT 6th in TES, and it would still be fine, but the Chinese judge would get reviewed.

That's what I'm scared of! Koola King's already making videos of Medvedeva's flutzes getting +5s, and her jumps are the opposite of effrortless.

Sure "very good" height and distance. Sure, judges, sure. (Though, this looks surprisingly like a bit of what BoP from GS keeps saying, I think, did he push for this I wonder. Good on him if he did! edit: NVM, his GOE bullets are different)

I think he's out. Still holding hopes that he might be one of the guys being sent to Raf, but likely it's Zhang He and his brother (the junior guy is his brother, right?).
-
Great! Gives me more hope for the current topic of discussion, too.
-
Yeah, this all seems to me to be a part of a greater scheme. Maybe they want to establish all the infrastructure FS in China needs over the next four years? And of course making sure their current hopes are trained well and do well and win medals will make sure more kids join FS, and that there's a steady flow of talent in China. (Speculation, as I don't know how FS is treated there)
-
What does this mean? Also, fans will fan. I promise I won't be too disappointed if it turns out it's not long term this year, though of course I hope it is!
-
What changed?

He's rich enough to get a wig, that's the least of my concerns.
