  1. Given the quad BVs, I want the no reps rule to pass too. It's clearly trying to devalue axels (I WONDER WHY), so a 7 jump program with no quad reps is what I want.
  2. I'm debuting this GIF. Thanks to @Yatagarasufor extracting this one out of a tweet! Pretty appropriate reaction for the next season, from Boyang.
  3. Again, quality crossovers ARE a real thing that show skating skills. Compare Yuzuru with Chen. Look at how much speed Yuzuru or Patrick get out of one crossover, and how they are able to maintain it. It's absolutely something that should be rewarded. But, again, that's not what's really happening. It's sad when I can judge this sport more fairly than the ISU.
  4. Completely fairly, a UR jump could still have nice qualities. A big jump, with nice flow out might still be URed. So the BV is reduced, but it still has nice qualities. Not saying this is what will happen of course.
  5. Do you really want to know the answer? You forgot "hotness". ... I'm logging off for a bit.
  6. Any chance they'll try to do so before 2022? Just literally refuse to let any medals go that way if they're refused? Or at least will the Chinese get to watch the event in their country at their own time, instead of at 12 noon to accommodate the US viewers who don't care about FS? At least Boyang can, you know, jump, that jumping bean. >.>
  7. If we're talking about "very good" height and distance, then Chen's is still just "OK" or "good". As are Zhou's. Which, BTW, I think he tries to delay his jumps, so... Well done USFSA?
  8. So... I'm just going to be watching 4 men, 1 woman, and S/H next season. What about you guys?
  9. O__o I thought that meant posture, alignment, tight position, no leg wrap.
  10. Wait, what's a "long preparation"? A lutz prepares for longer. Also, are we going to ding people who follow musical structure? EDIT: Just noticed! No more tanos being rewarded?! Nonsense. No delay in rotation being rewarded either.
  11. I was being sarcastic. We already know who will be getting +4s without deserving to. Weak landing is -1 to -3. Loss of flow and long preparation are -2 to -3. Nothing on excessive PR, or how to measure where the jump takes off. There IS "poor take-off" which was never defined to begin with. @Kattlol it was sarcasm due to resignation guys.
  12. Hmmm. I wonder which fed and skater benefits most from these. Lord, do I wonder. And the GOE bullets mean no one apart from Yuzuru and Boyang ought to be getting +5, right? Right?!
  13. He's pretty princely, IDK what they're thinking with Averbukh for him.
  14. I hope that's it then. This seems like favouritism to the nth degree (not that I mind it since Gubanova is the only lady who might pull it off with her choreo).
  15. https://vk.com/nikita_mikhaylov_figureskating?w=wall-13493551_8236%2Fall Aliev is also TAT's type of skater.
  16. It's a pity when even I could probably choreograph something better than that. I'm going to assume TAT will keep an eye out. BTW, wasn't she doing a piece for Gubanova?
  17. Wait which one was this? The 9/11 one? That makes the program even worse.
  18. In my ongoing attempt to forever one up things, I'll be crueler than fate and laugh hard.
  19. Making sandwiches would be hard to mime though. Making a pizza base is easier to show and more iconic.
  20. Genuine question 1: Why does it matter what the allotments are, and how are we predicting them? Genuine question 2: If Chen says that he can do only those two so he doesn't miss classes, what are the chances his career survives if he keeps Yale up?
  21. LOL. Ideally, we'd just turn FS into American Idol.
  22. I think this is already subsumed under "the judging is biased" -- also proposed to be eliminated by NED.
