I think the gossip leaked only after something started to go through. Myth always has basis in fact. My bet is Eteri heard it through a reliable grapevine. We don't know she didn't respond, though. She might have on phone, on messenger, anything else.

I don't think this is like a relationship at all. Not a romantic relationship. I buy Eteri's craziness, though. Peasant Tut knew about it, thought it wouldn't go through, was disappointed, and threw a fit. That's it.

Can I just say that of all the haters Med's getting, the ones who are worried for Eteri because TAT and Trankov "hate" her, and because many want her to fail, leading to a decline in the Russian "boom" are the worst of them all? Just absolute awfulness. That's probably also including that one rando who was bashing Med for being "spoiled".

Real talk: Trusova's quads are bad. She's never landed them fully rotated to my eyes. So if she leaves Eteri to either have a better training environment in general, or just to learn real quads, then fine by me. But the subject of their being retained by the time she turns into an adult still remains.
