  1. I do agree with this. Why does all of Orser have to be good at jumps and everything else? I don't think I can name a current coach who delivers at such a high level for both.
  2. But the show will be great. I think it's great if everyone who loves FS can train as they like. And I still remember 2017W when all of them were lifting each other up to deliver such a high level of skating. It would be wonderful to watch that happen for the next four years, and next several years, really.
  3. I am not thinking of Boyang going to TCC as an advantage for anyone but himself, honestly. And if he can go permanent, better for him. It has a very good record, after all. And if they all like each other, hey, why not? Training could be fun. ^_^
  4. I actually edited that too slowly. Of course they'll push them, and train them for 2022 (which is why they're with Orser), but I thought it ultimately would be for 2026, which is all but confirmed in Calgary, right?
  5. Is he in for 2022? I was assuming 2026, though of course he'll try 2022. Same for Orzel, because I think 2026 in Calgary is only a little less than confirmed.
  6. Oh, good lord, WHY?! I actually literally can't even name a US coach I like...
  7. I do hope it leads to success, and may China be another "small fed" to breakthrough. Korea is doing it bit by bit, too, and let the "big fed" status fade away from this corrupt sport.
  8. So, all the Boyang and Yuzu co-fans are going to get lots of social media updates to fan over, I hope.
  9. Oh, and Orser will finally force Lori to serve him some good choreography, instead of "I'm only watching this because this guy's great". >.>
  10. ...But does this mean no hilarious Weibo posts anymore/for the summer?
  11. That's it, I'm going even if I don't have the money! Change his entries, Brian (so he can not crash into the boards)! Make him get more speed, so he can make his 4S and 4Lo larger! Break his bad habit of looking at the boards before jumping~!! Make him practice transitions! MAKE HIS 4Lz A MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONSTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER (an even scarier one) Training with the best there are must be such a valuable experience.
  12. He needs a lot more work than that. This is such a great path for him! So, so happy! ...I want to attend the Canadian WCs now. I know someone who lives in Canada, but they don't care for FS I think, so I can't live vicariously through them.
  13. AAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH (even if it's summer camp maybe they'll send him there for the next three years if they like the improvements, which they will lbr)
  14. IDK why him sitting on a moving chair is adorable, but it is:
  15. So I already lost a bet I had with myself that Boyang would be in CiONTU because it was all very coincidental that he would be in Korea with so many of Yuzuru's coworkers and friends, and that show was going to take place only a week before this... But we know that Orser usually asks his students' opinions before taking in a new one, and JunHwan is right there, and he/his agency invited Boyang, and Orser was always going to direct it, I think.
  16. Fingers crossed for the next few days with me then Though, if not, he seems driven enough anyway. (Isn't Zoueva more of an Ice Dance coach?)
  17. I sure hope it ain't Boyang because... that's just not what his skating needs IMO, and that's just not the direction I'd like any skater to take. It might sound harsh on Raf, but while I doubt he made NC stuff his programs with quads, he sure enabled it. That being said, I remember he said he liked working in Beijing, so I doubt it's him. And I'd have faith in him not neglecting the other parts of skating, for one, anyway. (The other point being he knows what his skating needs better than I.) But if CSA is allowing skaters to go to other coaches, then... different choreographer, please? Shae-Lynn, where art thou?
  18. I actually just don't know what the point of determining a GOAT is. It won't affect anyone's achievements.
  19. RA is not a PCS-focused coach, that's for sure. IDK how I feel about this.
  20. http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2018/04/18/272677196 RA is in discussion with the CSA about sending "two young Chinese Male Skaters" in prep for 2022. Please, no? I'd rather they went to Orser. Maybe that's what will happen during the show. Anyone know any rumours? Maybe it's Han Yan and Zhang He, not Han Yan and Boyang? He'll ruin/stagnate all progress with Boyang. With the other two, at least they need help with landing jumps, whatever's up there. Maybe it's upcoming juniors? Literally the only benefit for Boyang is politicking... He even delays all toe jumps, I just noticed, that's not true of RA's technique. He could benefit from staying closer to the US/CAN choreographers, and maybe he needs help jumping away from boards, and politicking, I guess, and it's great if the CSA is willing to fund him, but then... why not Orser? It also just seems like a huge conflict of interest with Nathan there, especially given the politicking of that one IN article with his pic on it... And it will be distasteful if they continue with it if this indeed true, and I won't be shocked if they do continue. Whose choice is it usually for coaching changes? The fed's or the skater's? I don't think we'd heard anything about Boyang considering it, but one of them's clearly Han Yan. He isn't retiring anymore?
