  1. Never seen his choreography. Like his programs. What has he done with Yuzuru?
  2. It sounds classical in a "strange" way. I can see it being interpreted as something comical, but also tragi-comical as you say. Here's a funny classical dance: Here's a funny dance to classical music: If it's true, even if it's not "funny" (which I don't think anyone should be boxed into anyway), I'm excited for Boyang + Browning! If it's something completely new from either or both of them, that's even better!
  3. Wait really???? How reliable is that?! One of my friends keeps saying that Boyang could probably do Browning-type programs, personable and charming, with his own twist. I agree, tbh. One program like this one, and another more serious one like CTHD. Here for this. Browning with Boing-Boing tho
  4. My prediction is that Eteri moves to TCC so she can finally learn how to teach her students how to jump well.
  5. I think it's less pessimism than concern. I'm sure they figured it out, but it is a lot of top skaters under one roof. They're all kids with their own hopes. I'm still waiting for Boyang's arrangements to be announced, though.
  6. Interesting... In several ways. Boyang's a performer, not a showman. He's growing into it. Not concerned here. Doubtful. But Med might be the only top one switching to Orser, so still right in that sense.
  7. We need a crazy predictions thread! Ours will be more awesome /shade
  8. In all seriousness, though... It might be too late for Karen to really fix her technique. She's the best singles skater in the US, IMO.
  9. Seriously, this is what keeps flashing in my mind. And the hype they've poured on Chen, and the usual drama... And Rippon had problems with Orser, too, so that's fuel. "Jason Brown is training with the best coach in the world. His training mate is Yuzuru Hanyu! (ignore everyone else)" "Brown has lost the 4CC in Anaheim! Does this mean he isn't getting enough attention?" Yeah. And I don't see them gelling well either. I'm waiting for the "schedule" to be released, and for CSA's details about the arrangement.
  10. Schedule? This is the first thing I thought. Either Boyang's doing a hybrid team, or Brown's there for a season or two. Tursynbayeva will still leave, though. Where are you Hersh? I intensely dislike you, but we need your nonsense for once.
  11. Pretty much. They're all kids, and it would be sad if it doesn't.
  12. If Brown really is going, I wish them all best of luck. Especially to Jun Hwan, Boyang, and Yuzuru. I want to believe it will all be fine, but I don't know what Orser is thinking.
  13. I also think the way TSL has worded it... I still don't think Boyang's going to have Orser as his main coach as opposed to a part of a hybrid team, so maybe it's a contract for a couple seasons. But, opposed to that, could this mean Medvedeva might leave after 2 seasons? Not sure.
  14. Tursynbayeva (and I'm not trying to be mean here), has been a non-entity at TCC. I don't see her having gained much there either. She will leave. I don't see Cha leaving for some reason, even with all the points you brought up, though it does make it a more real possibility in my mind now. I think Daleman leaving is more likely, because Cha is still test-running it, in a sense. If he stops growing, and sees the benefits... Another thing that makes me think Cha is staying -- Orser directed his show. (pretty throw-away reason, I know) Orser probably discussed plans with all his skaters, especially future plans, but those can tip with circumstances. As for Gogolev, usually I'd believe SC would be invested, but Orser was one of those who spoke out against kids doing quads... I think the focus with Gogolev might have shifted to 2026.
  15. I had a sudden feeling that Daleman would be leaving... But I'd forgotten about Tursynbayeva. That's who's leaving. Cha won't leave (at least this next season or two), and I expect him to do well in the coming quad. Still out on Brown. USFSA dealing with Orser again? Best of luck to everyone. I think Orser would have discussed everything with his skaters, and I'm assuming that includes future plans.
  16. His power's over 9000! He'll grow new, blond, spiky hair. ...Feel free to steal that idea, memer who might be reading this.
  17. I just don't know what to think of this...
