  1. Oh God. I find it hard to pallet Tutberidze, even though I respect the way she's risen above hardships.
  2. Good GOD Uno, take a rest, why are you going to WTT?! (also, Bing translates Tanaka Keiji senshu into "tanaka criminal player" lmao)
  3. Boyang has been invited to Ice Fantasia again, along with Peng/Jin. He was already invited to The Ice.
  4. They have all the extras they need! And a nice message of world peace to go along with it!
  5. I just might end up enjoying RD for once tons of jokes that aren't all reducing to "creepy sexy face" and "they want to kill each other [GONE SEXUAL]" like this season.
  6. Me two!!!! Yeah we're gonna, bop bop bop! Bop to the Top! Slip and slide and ride that rhythm! P/C will pick What I've Been Looking For, or something though. But the Sharpay/Ryan version would be fun XD
  7. Yeah, I don't find him to be an artist. I don't think anyone's currently an artist, and I do think Chen has potential in that department, but he's just... not. I don't think he's got presence, his musicality is kind of generic, and I can just watch Hanyu/Uno/Jin to be more engaged with what they're selling. I can see that. My dislike for Vincent is based entirely on his comments on skating technique, and it makes my skin crawl that he got away with his URs after that PR campaign. I think either Uno or Jin should have been bronze.
  8. I have been on that train, Zhou does seem to put more heart into his performance when it matters most (Olympics LP comes to mind). He also seems to have a knack at creating a better presence (which is my biggest issue with nathan... compare him to Yuzuru, Shoma's LPs in 2017 Worlds (and some other performances from them), and Boyang's SP there or at 4CCs this year, and they blow him away in terms of this one quality). But his refinement and basic skating overall is just not pleasing which is why I don't usually bother. He's still quite immature though, and comes across a little too phony, girl-playing-dressup (what's the boys' version of this? ) when he tries to perform.
  9. Yeah, friends and I have been discussing merits of the PCS as scored here (although we're firmly on "everyone's boring" train). Yuzuru is a more refined skater leading to more refined delivery of choreo, and I think his interpretation isn't bad, although not a fan of that or the choreo overall. Nathan had good moments in the choreo sequence and step sequence, and he has some interesting movement too, but a lot of his moves look throwaway at points because he simply isn't a good performer and I never find him cohesive... IDK what kind of point gap I'd have between them, but my initial impression of Hanyu>Chen stands. (not bothering with Zhou)
  10. I didn't mean to imply you were pretending, but certain comments from skaters and media outlets are indeed instead choosing to spin the narrative into "oh well, she should have been more careful". Of course, now it's even more out of hand. Duhamel didn't need to comment, and it's now not even alleged bullying from a 22 yo, but actual, legitimate bullying from a 33 yo.
  11. Sometimes emojis just don't work for everyone else either... right?
  12. It was a joke. Ish. I do hope it happens at this point. They sure are squadding up against a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD girl, and it's definitely, to me at least, coming off as them exerting their power over her to silence. So, let's see what they make of a skating legend telling them off. Hardly anyone will care about what Rippon or Wagner thinks then. You need to add a "mad" reaction button at this point
  13. Given all these skaters' "statements", I'd love to see Yuna Kim's now. Let's see who holds more power.
  14. I don't want to rant, so I'll just say that Team Raf is not painting itself in a good light at all. Ponsart and Wagner seem to have foot in mouth disease, and I am not looking forward to their comments on this latest footage.
  15. 1. I can't conclude anything, but it might be, yes. 2. Yes. I have no idea why people are pretending Eunsoo wasn't giving Bell her right of way. There have been several times we've seen skaters still be in the rink when others are in their RT. 3. Not only that, but also, if the bullying accusations are true, or even if not, there seems to be some distrust between two of his skaters, and there seems to be no awareness on his part. Ashley Wagner, in the meantime, continues to be a great role model. Not.
  16. No clue where I saw it, by Boyang analysed his 4Lz fall. I think he said he wanted to really land it, and therefore applied lower pressure in order to control it, but wasn't able to get the correct lift as a result. His condition was fine, so this was mental. Good that he knows what went wrong, so that he can go into the LP with a clear head.
  17. Also, might I add, a lot of the people who think they're "defending" Bell and/or Raf's camp are giving a horrifying masterclass of how to be as tone-deaf and unaware as possible on issues of racism. Bell can't possibly be racist because she's friends with Chen and Honda? Please. This is horrible:
  18. Yes, there have been enough allegations about "evil agents" who've done this. It's an agency owned by someone who's STILL South Korea's top celebrity. Maybe the collision was unintentional, we do not know, but there have been allegations of bullying as well, and clearly Lim felt something was off and has been for a while, if they're pressing this matter. I do so wish the news reporters had used better headlines, but from what I've seen the sensationalism isn't even coming from the more respected Korean sites, but some Western ones (the "stabbing" one isn't Korean, I don't think, nor is the "Tonya Harding 2.0" stuff -- so much for Korean clickbait!) and some others known to be not reliable. TSL just did their usual sensationalist thing, too. The news sites absolutely should apply pressure if it's been alleged via the agency. Why should they let it go? ATS has spoken, and I think it's an actual matter that deserves serious investigation. It's also a way to pressure the Korean Fed into doing something. This isn't the Sochi incident. Sorry. It's alleged racism and intentional harm, far more serious than a medal many felt was taken away from Kim. No, Bell shouldn't get death threats, but using this comparison to say fans are too passionate is ridiculous. Korea sent their skater to be trained overseas and it is being alleged that racist harassment has been going on. They feel insulted and scared for one of their own, and angered about her treatment in a foreign land.
  19. Service providers like to provide good quality services for the rest of their customers, and potential customers too who might not choose them if a problem child is present. Not to mention their own reputation.
