Among men w 2 Olympic titles, Yuzu's the only one that keeps competing for next season... Do you think someone can break Yuzu's current WR before himself w new scoring rule? What's possible cases? (example: Yuzu bombs his ACI, and someone benefits from raised GOE in their first CS, some 100+ (old scoring)->110+ (new scoring), is it possible?). I'm not sure how much score will rise w new GOE and other rules applied.

Possible, thou I hope he can get better than bronze at his homeland. The thing is Beijing vs ISU, who would win . Many talented juniors (from feds w no men's medal yet) are going senior this yr too, like Junhwan and Matteo. They might perform unexpectedly well in coming yrs who knows.

Fun fact I just noticed about Oly Bronze recent yrs: -2010: DICE (1st medal for Jpn men's skating) -2014: Denis (1st medal for Kazakhstan men's kating) (suddenly sooo sad:() -2018: Javi (1st for Spain) -2022: ??? Will she use same music as Gubanova's one? I like Gubanova's R&J so much she's the only Juliet I like. But Alyona is my favorite after last ss too I wonder how Alyona would make it.

Yuzu can pull off anything, so even w warhorses I know his programs will still be good. Not to say he has the best choreographers in the field so... But I think high chance is he will choose new, unusual pieces like last 3 yrs. It's true his "taste" was warhorses, but taste can change, especially after he skated for many yrs and got constant feedback. You would grow to like smt if you constantly got good score and positive response about it, like he got w SEIMEI, H&L. In the past, he was so eager to prove himself, so he liked dramatic and classic pieces. Skating to warhorses are necessary experience to grow as a big skater thou (like u need to learn textbook before writing your own). Yuzu at the moment is alr beyond that point. Now he's wiser and knows to listen to his body and ppl around him, his perception of "good" music to skate might change too. (Or he doesn't change at all and ends up w 2 warhorses? I'll eat all my words then )

I hope isu made more events in Korea. Korean fans' fancam are all in 4K with SUPERB quality, excel any official broadcast. I always look at their fc of yuzu and others whenever i want to rewatch, not the broadcasts ones. Even the fancam for their LOCAL JGP qualifiers are in that high quality! And now i'm here thinking I have to watch Yuzu's new program for the first time w that subpar ACI streaming

Talking about the sport's popularity potential, I swear I have never seen our country's TV show anything FS since new scoring system. It showed a lot during 6.0 system era thou, I even knew some skaters even when I'm not fan of the sport or anything. I rmb FS as such beautiful sport, with beautiful skaters and gorgeous performances. But since then, up until Yuzu, the sport was completely out of my sight. Honestly Yuzu's surge in popularity doesn't really push the sport for long term. Must say a majority of that new surge is from his look, image, and extraordinary accomplishment in his life that resonates with public (like an "ideal" image u want from a person, be it ideal child, ideal lover, ideal human being etc.), not about FS itself. In FS, there was old stars, there will be new stars, but they're just stars among FS fans, they need more than FS to reach the public.

Prob a mix of 2 and 3. I still watch Yuzu's shows ofc. Other skaters I'd watch if there's time, or casually get updated of who's in the scene rn. Ofc there's no way I would be interested and invest as much as I am now.

Do u know any other skater has skated to Ballade no. 1 and LGC (all disciplines)? While im quite sure seimei and h&l are unique to yuzu, ballade and lgc are pretty popular pieces, idk if any has tried be4 yuzu. Search on youtube they only show yuzu's ones.

Wow we're going to see his new programs in 2 months.. Just thinking of it got me so excited. AAAAAAAA!!!!!! (thou 2 months now feel like 2 f*cking yrs ) I dont even think about his flop, it alr doesnt matter at this point. Just wanna see his new programs! Its only 2 more months, i wonder if he has wrapped up most parts of them now... Rmb when I saw his pic the 1st time, he looked legit like 10+ yrs old boy (even now he still does lol), yet they say he's a legend of the sport. I was like "whut? you tell me this baby is no.1 pro in the field? how many yrs did he work btw?=))). It's kinda unbelievable what a life he lives under that child-like appearance.

Seems like my wish of Yuzu's clone to compete after he retires isn't all impossible=))
