I've always hoped for the statement, now I'm truly relieved that he will be all fine when I'm off to focus on my real life (if he went Worlds ofc I must keep an eye on him, while being endless worried for his health). He also has a clear plan for rehabilitation so I'm positive he can comeback mighty fine next ss. All the best for other skaters competing at Worlds.

Cuz we have to wait for the statement for quite a while I'm a bit shocked when seeing it pop up in my noti. My 1st reaction is... being skeptical more than anything. There have been tons of fake sources about Yuzu's condition before.

The later tweet quoted Hanyu's words so it seems real. The 1st one I'm still skeptical. So I think his injury isn't that serious? Idk, but he got 3 months for rehab so it sounds good enough for me (theoretically... Realistically they might have to tie him on bed by force )

i really cant wait to see how a program that fully manipulates the new scoring system would look like. putting score aside, lets see if it looks more aesthetics/beautiful to common audience than progs under current system. Ofc beauty is in the eyes of the beholders but u dont even need to know skating skill to see that Hanyu's jump is 'prettier' than nathan's or boyang's when its well-executed right? At least from icenetwork articles, that seems like what isu is aiming for w this new rule change.

Still in debate, but it's what's going on. If it gets published they might use words like "aesthetical movements" thou, not "flappy bird movement" It's not like judge hasn't done this be4, but if it's getting formally accepted, just how far cheap movements will get rewarded btw.

I alr sensed smt it isn't right when they decided to increase GOE range, with how freely GOEs are given now, wider range just gives way for more room and excuse to reward average/low quality jumps. Artistry balance my ass. But I'd keep my eyes wide open to see how Yuzu step on those BS to stand on top while ISU can stay as pressed as they want.

Do they have records for highest GOEs achieved by figure skaters? (only saw TES/PCS in wiki). Cuz I bet Yuzu is completely dominant in that area

I don't think US judge even tried to hide, s/he dead ass SINGULARLY gave Yuzu lowest score in most elements (but thks God lowest score is cut off), but ISU can't do anything even thou it's soooooo transparent cuz it's US lol. It's not going to change any time soon, regardless of change in scoring. Can only hope Yuzu to fight all the odds w his greatness as he's always done
