I guess keeping Origin would be the practical option considering how much technical work he's putting in now (I assume) with upgrading his layout but... Points... Well, I'm sure he won't be throwing any points away in Origin 2.0. Whatever we can see in judging, he can see clearer. It's Trust the Zazuroni time.

I think it's what the commentator said right after he finished Seimei?

Two months. Are there any smol skating beans who'll give us photos, I wonder? Maybe Joseph will post more videos where we can spot the cryptid...

Honestly I'm shocked anybody survived any ACI at all after white LGC.
-
Remember how two years ago he dropped that perfect Chopin on us and we were all like 'uh oh has he peaked too early' and then he dropped that Seimei on us and we were all very 'hehehe guys I don't think we need to worry about him peaking early'? And then last season's ACI of 'I wanna focus on doing what I love, points don't mean everything' and then that flop on his Otonal spin and then 'points, points are everything'? And this time we'll get everything dropped on us at once? We'll need ACI support group at this rate.

Good point. If it was something bad enough that they know this far ahead of time that it can't be done, then there's no way he'd be able to compete at ACI. Especially since media day is something he has a lot of control over wrt the kind of footage that is released, any injury he'd recover from in time for ACI, he'd probably be able to give enough footage to give the impression that nothing's wrong. Like how if we watched FaOI highlights, we wouldn't know how many 4Lz and 4F falls there were! Thank you for pointing that out, it's probably something else altogether, not an injury.

Wow, ACI will be blessed by Axel Energy! I hope he's not recycling, not just because I want last season left behind but because neither programme is designed to make the most of CoP. But Yuzu will do what Yuzu will do and we'll go bald like fanyus do.

Why is this happening, Zazuri I don't do too great with change in routines like this!
-
Maybe we should rethink GOAT to GOTE - Greatest Of This Era. That's Yuzu.

And the emphasis on weight for these girls, the pressure from their coaches. I do think that girls jumping quads and 3As is fantastic, but I also think that if coaches and ISU want the sport to evolve technically in that direction, they should also work on training and jumping techniques that can be executed by girls without the emphasis so solidly on being as light as possible. Maybe building muscle, jumping bigger and having the technique to control the axis of big jumps to add that last rotation. Like Caro's or Kaetlyn's technique adapted to quads. This current path to quads is not going to end well at all.

I won't complain about the music because I'm just so happy to see him skating like that again. Those knees. Those edges. Beautiful! Welcome back! You've been missed.

All those videos, and I don't think the specialist - she's a referee, isn't she? - used the word 'artistry' even once while talking about how Performance Components are supposed to be scored! Somebody send Tara the links so she knows what she's supposed to analyse as commentator, please. Isn't it funny how the videos about explanations basically said the same things we - just regular folk who got caught up and then wanted to understand - have been saying about scoring? And we were told 'WhO dO yOu ThInK yOu ArE, eXpErTs MaDe ThE dEcIsIoNs, TaKe A sEaT sOrE lOsErS' every time we said any of these things? And now an expert giving instructions to other experts has said the same things? I shall wait for people to start calling this expert a biased Fanyu. I'm not going to cross post from another platform but there's a post on the figure skating subreddit from somebody who claims to have had a conversation with a judge. Basically claims that what we've always assumed about ISU have preferred skaters they push and a company line judges are supposed to follow are true, and that advancement up the ranks to judge bigger events depends on that. Of course it's just a random comment on the internet, no way to check if it's true or just fiction, but it was interesting, and the very defensive responses were also interesting.

Wow the contrast between Vincent's and Krasnozhon's interviews! Reading them back to back, it's hard not to notice.

If it's not, Koshiro has only one spot I think, so there's plan B. ETA: lol Everybody's had the same thought. I've gone off Dai considerably since The Scandal which was awful but he is an amazing skater regardless. -

Well, we'll know if Yuzu has truly been adopted by Canada, huh?
