So do you expect to see a 4A from him at all? His statements about the 4A have not been heated at all, they've been measured and realistic. I don't expect him to do six quads in one programme, or even at one competition. But he made his intentions pretty clear and I expect he will attempt to land all of the quads, why would you consider that a superhuman feat? All of them except the 4A have already been landed. He's landed the 4Lz already. I think most people are waiting to see in terms of what he'll do. If he really wants to do the 4F - he did (allegedly) go for it at FaOI and I don't think anybody just goes for a new quad like that unless they've done adequate training in harness and under ideal conditions, so I believe he has trained the 4F - then he'll probably do it. I also don't think Yuzu said anything to the press without considering his words carefully. I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion about him saying such specific things in the heat of the moment, considering how he's handled media, press conferences and interviews for the last ten years through moments at least as frustrating as last Worlds was.

So, wait, when Yuzu said he'd go for the 4A last season - of course it was derailed by injury but still - what did you think he was actually saying? I think he was making a clear statement of intent and he'll do it pretty much as soon as he has a halfway decent success rate on it.

Yes, it is. All the practice sessions are in dark grey and the men's sessions have SM in them so Thursday 13.25 is the first practice session for men.

As far as I know, the guest on TSL who said that, Doug, isn't actually part of TSL, he's just friends with Brian or something like that so he has information sometimes. I kinda think Brian uses the dude to leak exactly the information he wants out there, so maybe it is that. And Yuzu did do everything to keep the 4Lz under wraps until he turned up for practice Olys season. But then he was also wilding at FaOI so I'm still confused. I guess we'll find out soon enough now... Not ready, so not ready.

Trusova's 4T is the only really positive GOE quad I've seen from ladies tbh, but then I would also give half the quads from men negative GOE so there's that.

And if that doesn't work, there will be others, and we'll have them updated on the event thread. But I suggest preparing in advance by testing out a few VPNs and seeing what works for you with Russia and Canada VPNs specifically, for CBC and Russian streams. I usually find that setting the Opera built-in VPN to Europe automatically sets a Russian ip and that works for me, but CBC no longer works on the Opera VPN at least for me.

And imagine the strategic value! Yuzu keeps getting the short end of the stick because he doesn't get the last skate. Well, imagine ANYBODY skating after this. Commentators will try to wax poetic about whatever, and judges will try to do their thing, but the only thing in everybody's heads will be Ra-Ra-Rasputin, Russia's greatest love machine. It's impossible to get it out. The rest of the last group can skate to the most uplifting arias with the most heavenly voices and it won't matter. It'll all be Ra-Ra-Rasputin.
