OT: I'm watching football/soccer WC and raging over stupid referee calls and yet its still better as I'm crying tears of blood that Figure Skating doesn't have cool things like goal line technology or VAR (video assistant referee) for at least their biggest events like Worlds to call jump rotations and assist tech callers. Instead ISU are still debating over CDs and USBs. If I become a millionaire, maybe I'll have to fund a project for FS gear and tech instead of funding my trips around for events.

Seems like the choreo, spins, steps, and jumps correspond to notes and keys of the instrumental/piano so for a vocal version if its not over the right accompaniment it'll probably be hard.

Ugh, TC Handler. I don't even know why satellites and some fans even tried. This guy is a nobody on top of being an attention-seeker, and kpop fans are giving him the time of the day just because of his irrelevant lists. I'd rather keep Yuzu away from all this drama, especially since he's not an idol, model, actor, or entertainer where this stuff matters.

Some of Hanyu's jumps are returning and he's been doing his signature moves. Has he done a Biellmann on this FAOI tour yet? I don't remember seeing it (I don't remember much about Dory tbh ). Do you think it'll be coming back and he's just decided to rest it during the off season? Edit: I think I'm just being a worrywart for nothing. I don't think he did it either during Faoi last year.

Yaaassss!!! It's super short though, lol. Maybe I expected more since the Rio video showed the athletes at least twice, but this time I guess with a lot more guests each part has to be super short. Shallow time: understandably this was filmed before he cut his hair, but I'm kind of sad about it. It's not that bad, but I don't like how he sets/parts the hair.

And really, either someone told him about the performance and cheerleaders or he and his family are really great lurkers and news savvy.

I forgot who I had been talking to, but wow they guessed right about the ranking! Yuzu at 6 is pretty good. Kind of surprised to see out of all the Japanese footballers Nakata and my man Kagawa made it.

Not sure who is included in this list, but if J-entertainers too I think 6th is great for an athlete of a niche sport. Since above him could also be long time Jpop stars like SMAP/Arashi/Namie/Utada/Ayumi, one-hit worldwide online wonders like Kyary/Piko, or international favorites like Perfume/One ok Rock and any of those wouldn't surprise me. Some Jdrama actors and actresses too (don't know if Hana Yori Dango was a hit there or not though.)

Petition for Yuzu to wear a tie for his costume in either his next FS/SP/EX so he can do that tie tugging move from Singx3 that I like so much and also we can watch him struggle with it all season.

Ok wondering, I thought Japan proposed that someone who does all the types of jumps in triples or quads gets some sort of bonus or whatever (bad summary). Did they pass or did they skip it?

This reminds me: just throwing it out there, some people speculate that one reason for why Orser is bringing in other top skaters because, including Javi, even Yuzu after this season is a big question mark, and (yes this being a business) if someone promising reaches out first, why not?

Interesting. What I find most interesting however is that he wanted to see Hanyu's reaction. He certainly has a different dynamic with Yuzu vs. Javi. It's most likely strictly business and yet he also probably knows Hanyu's mentality as an athlete best and maybe even considered that Hanyu wouldn't care, or wouldn't say anything if it's not a question but a statement. Also, is it too intrusive to wish an interviewer will (at some later date after the season starts) ask Hanyu about his new rink mates and his thoughts/feelings about it? We can guess, but I'm just awfully curious.
