  1. About the multiquote thing, last time I tried, I posted something with a quote, and then tried to edit and add another quote it doesn't work? It automatically becomes a new reply. Does other posters have the same problem?
  2. Whoever that GS fan is, I understand this so much, lol. I'm petty and competitive growing up with 6 sisters. I even get jealous if my favorite gets less screentime in a 30sec trailer. Of course, and then I tell myself to calm down and stop being so bothered by the unimportant things. It doesn't always work, but I try. But remember A LOT of Yuzu fans were banned from and left GS. Even if Yuzu didn't compete a lot this season, our 3,000 pages in the general thread happened anyway. Its not about the season that happened; Yuzu's thread or more like GS probably isn't the place for just Yuzu fans to chill out anymore. (Will mods ever consider splitting this thread up into seasons?)
  3. Isn't Boyang also interested in headphones? Although I'm not sure if he play video games like Shoma and Yuzu, but Shoma seems disinterested or not the type to initiate a conversation with Yuzu even if they train together anyway. Anyway, I don't have much hope of Boyang moving to TCC. I kind of already lost hope with Wakaba and I'm not up for it being dashed again.
  4. A part of me is okay with him recycling a super old program because, I'll say honestly, I thought I wasn't a fan of most of his older programs but Ciontu made me realize I just wasn't that big on younger noodly Yuzu (RJ1.0 being the exception). So again Ciontu showed me that Hanyu can pump new feels into warhorses and older programs and give them justice with his current mature skills. I don't even mind Poto 2.0 because I think he'll do it so much better than before. Another part of me hope he does a modern program like rock because he can do it and prove to people again about his versatility. More than anything, I'm looking forward to him bringing more Japanese music. Seimei had the exciting JPN flute and drums which brought goosebumps perfectly, and I know he had Change as an EX but a competitive program with the shamisen would be glorious.
  5. Or maybe he won't be there for all 3 days and maybe just the last one?
  6. I want these so much. How can I get them? The wings got me, though of course I just have a thing for miniature costumes of Yuzu's.
  7. Goodness, I'm such a hypocrite: I voted. I mean, I see "Yuzuru Hanyu" I click is a real thing with me. But also, I do love his FS best too so like it's not like I picked him just because. The Western hemisphere is awake, and the poll won't last long, so today we find out if Yuzu fans can beat IN at their game.
  8. I do wonder when the poll opened because when I knew about it, it was midday in the US and now its closed. You can run Twitter polls up to a week but I don't think they did. Of course both skaters have fans from all over the world, and this is an English site, so results will change whenever. I'd love to see Yuzu-fan Jack who has done a lot of polls for Yuzu do the same poll with the same choices. Now I wonder if results will change. Makes me really curious at this point.
  9. Thanks! The choices are so random though, seriously, it doesn't make sense. Some responses asked why not include Adam Rippon, but I guess he would win over their golden boy and I guess Keegan is skating for Canada now so he's in there to pretend that they're giving diverse choices (though I really liked what I saw of Keegan's so he'd be my choice). Now, let's see how many votes they actually get now that they decided to exclude Yuzu. Didn't Yuzu get like at least 10K for one poll once? (Or maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.) I guess? But if they're going for broke anyway, why don't they just include Yuzu and incite a Twitter fanwar between Nathan and Yuzu fans and get those retweets and votes? But the winner would have already been decided anyway I guess, and so that's why they included Shoma with a perhaps similar league of recognition and fandom to do that voting war instead, and I see it's working somewhat with the close gap. Well, at the end of the day, it's just one network and twitter anyway.
  10. Maybe we should send our music recommendations to Jeff instead. jk RE: the twitter poll about SPs I gleefully read the responses. Yes, I'm that petty. Gotta vote to see the results but I'm not doing that. Wonder if you know who is winning.
  11. Question - doesn't Yuzu let Jeff choose the SP music though? Was Parisienne Walkways, Chopin, and LGC Jeff's idea? So, Yuzu will do what Yuzu wants for the FS and we can't read him, but if Jeff will choreograph for Yuzu's SP again maybe that'll be easier to follow and also his choices have been great so far.
  12. On the costume discussion, as an outsider I always felt that for Japanese their costumes are "costumes as part of the performances" and so it seems a few performers go above and beyond to be outside the box of casual. I didn't even bat an eyelash at Yuzu because I was a Johnny's fan with all their fluff and sparkles for their concerts, and they don't wear a suit and call it a day. And that's what I really like about their costumes, even if it's not to my taste, as well as the figure skating costumes of some figure skaters (like Yuzu).
  13. When was PlanetHanyu created and opened? Have we passed the 1 year anniversary yet?
  14. I am not okay with this hairstyle unless he's skating as a samurai (okita souji).
  15. Me neither. But if it's 2 hours long, holy cow, I do wonder if there will be that much talking at an "ice show". Maybe Yuzu will go through his history with each featured skater. Me needs to see the choo choo train again or some skating games.
  16. Maybe to help Yuzu MC the event instead? Isn't this guy a regular commentator and another go-to guy for expert opinions on skating? I'm kind of surprised with how much he's spoken about Yuzu that I haven't seen them interact or heard about it. And I wonder how he contributed to the present Yuzu.
  17. I wasn't very worried about who will be at Ciontu, but now with it being so close and still so many ??? I'm starting to feel very sad that a lot of skaters won't be taking part in it since Yuzu is missing out on their other "outings" and their public support would have been nice, of course I'm sure personally and privately they're happy for him. I need Yuzu to talk everyone's socks off for 1+ hours if this is going to be the case.
  18. If Yuzu realize his other dream and does become a pop star and singer later on in his life the future Yuzu actor will have one hell of a time, thats for sure. Kekekeke
  19. Hollywood ver: In the movie, there will be a short voice over about how Yuzu looked up to Nathan Chen who started the quad race and real Yuzu will be watching it on the couch like woohoo Boyang!
  20. Ahahaha! Imagine watching a stunt double-Yuzu for actor Yuzu do the most beautiful 4lz for COR which is actually to knowledgeable FS fans a UR 3f done with the wrong edge. I mean even the Olympics channel and Hollywood's I, Tonya got some of the facts wrong.
  21. Nowadays Haikyuu (doesn't have sparkles, but) is super popular with the girls too but I guess only boys read shounen jump, huh.
  22. I was okay with the changes at least in style because it wasn't explicitly an adaptation of Hanyu as a skater and his life. But about the rest. Ew. It's even worse than I thought. Like a big wtf.
  23. Tbh I don't care what they do or change from Hanyu's look-a-like or routines as long as they cover the sport realistically and it doesn't turn into magical abilities like Kuroko no Basket. Showing how hard the sport is, as well as the artistic/music side, would do much for Hanyu and highlight his genius and hard work (and make boys understand why figure skating is hard and beautiful). Like, I don't want the protagonist to suddenly reclaim his skills like nothing or learn new jumps (like 4lz and 4lo) like its nothing.
  24. I thought there was like another Japanese guy or something? Also, would be really surprised if all the big and retired Sendai or Tohoko skaters don't skate. And Nobu. So the final list should come out soon. If we're close to the date though, surprised it's not finalized yet. It's interesting I wonder who is the one taking care of the production and calling the shots of this though, with Hanyu in Canada. I don't know why I imagined Hanyu working his network and personally calling up skaters, but that's impossible.
