  1. Yuzu's adoration of Plu is cute, but dear goodness I hope not.
  2. Where is NHK? I think it's strange and ironic because sometimes I feel like Shoma doesn't like competing at home so much because of the media and pressure. His Japanese and even some international fans still wanted him to get a home GP though, so good for him. Perhaps it would have been better if he got it last year before he had to do GPF in his home ground.
  3. They don't seem to care that much about their ladies too, aside from the one. Seems they can't multitask.
  4. This is OT but I kind of wished JSF wouldn't put any of their top girls against the top Russian ladies in GPs, mainly Zhenya and Alina. Even if the JPN ladies skate spectacular they will be robbed. Improbable because there only 6 GPs but well it's wishful thinking.
  5. I'm sad because NHK is Yuzu's home ground and it's like they decided to let him go (although again still very understandable). But I'm excited that he's not sticking to predictabilty and routine as well. With his second Olys medal gotten, I see this as him starting anew.
  6. Wow I didn't notice this. Maybe if Yuzu was seeded they might have picked him over Shoma? Otherwise it makes sense that they went with Shoma sadly. So, with the Japanese ladies GPs what's the chance they make it to GPF?
  7. I know people were saying Javier was the hope of Europe as Asia and NA are dominating men's singles. With Javi's semi-retirement and a big ?? on the Russian boys, maybe Europe decided to adopt Yuzu since JSF has to take care of Shoma.
  8. He'll go through to GPF definitely. I'll want to see what a home GP does to Shoma's scores too, since the other GPs seem to already love him as well scorewise.
  9. Remember when we were all wishing Yuzu would go outside Japan and North America for GPs and then COR happened last year and now this. Tbh, isn't Yuzu just being nice to his fans around the world?
  10. Also I just realized Alina and not Zhenya gets home GP as well. Wow! I guess she was in the same pot as Yuzu being unseeded. Now this is a fresh start.
  11. Well, tbh this was expected and I was right but the fact that he isn't doing NHK or SC is still a shock. After his second Olympic medal I guess we'll see a new Yuzu. On the flip side, Shoma gets NHK right? Happy for him to get a home GP finally.
  12. I'm not going, but praying that those that go get their tickets. If anything, I'm glad Yuzu is going other places. As well, fans can get tickets easier perhaps?
  13. JPN fed just showed us the the power of their politicking. Or maybe they were really in a bind with Yuzu unseeded and Shoma. But lmao France didn't get Yuzu.
  14. Last time Yuzu skated at home was WTT 2017. Wow.
  15. Okay, going a sane route here: Yuzu could potentially not get NHK this year if JSF has to take a medalist and picks Shoma and prefers to not have them meet. Then he'd probably face Nathan and Kolyada at least in each GP which isn't all that bad tbh.
  16. Burning the names on a CD to ship to the person putting it up on the site. USBs and cloud are too easy.
  17. Except we're going to learn that Yuzu wears his Olympic gold medals to bed. Be prepared to see them on the ice.
  18. Kaitlin is waiting with us, so hopefully she got insider info that it'll drop today.
  19. They're taking a webinar about how to push the correct buttons. That's just it.
  20. LMAO. Maybe Lurker Yuzu is here then and as anxious as us! Don't worry Zu, you're not going to Antarctica!
  21. So do the skaters get to know their GPs before the public announcement?
  22. Or one of the fed is upset at the GP assignments and is trying to stall it. Waiting for something shocking. Maybe Yuzu did end up in TBA and COR.
  23. At this point, the only thing I will take over Yuzu is if N1 is the rise and domination of TCC and Brian Orser and co.
