Orser right? It'd be so cute, although idk if Orser would do it. Maybe Hanyu already asked. Having the stamina for training and then to do a routine maybe is different? Idk if BOrser has done any recent ice shows or stopped completely after becoming a coach. Sad that Mao who motivated Hanyu to do his 3A probably maybe won't do it also. She's too big and has her own tour. Don't think Dai would be included because it seems they haven't interacted much after he retired. (OT: I didn't think I'd feel so bad seeing so many top skaters doing Stars on Ice and being chummy and Hanyu not being there. Sometimes it makes just me, personally, feel weird him not being included in some Japanese shows with a lot of current and retired Team Japan during the summer or off season, although I'm sure there's reasonable reasons for that.) But a lot of people seemed to have been unhappy with the amount of shows Hanyu did after Sochi, so this year is already starting real different.

They should just sell these year-round as merchandise at Sendai ice-rink. Well, I'm going to hope.

I'm so sad I can't buy it now when it's still in stock. Hopefully the shirts will still be available next week? My card was cancelled because of fraud and my new one is coming in next week. Anyway, I can never bring myself to wear some of my favorite t-shirts so what I have done over the years, and will do for the Yuzu t-shirts (if I ever get the chance to order them) especially because I don't need more t-shirts in my wardrobe, is to stuff the shirts and sleeves with cotton and sew it closed so that it becomes a throw pillow (torso shaped). I arrange these on my bed as if they're decorative pillows or stuffed animals. Also they're so pudgy and thus very huggable, like a personalized hug pillow.

Notte stellata stands out for the delayed 1A (and 3A) but I also absolutely love Requiem, and if my memory is right in it he also only have the 3F (and again obligatory 3A). They're like, powerful waves of water and the other is like the wind. I love both equally, much like how I can't decide between Seimei and H&L because they're so different. It's how he performs it. So basically I just need Yuzu to skate around and spin with his arms and emote. Or y'know, throw kisses at the crowd wearing Pooh ears.

You have literally made my day. The 20+ tabs I had up on my browser of Yuzu content I still needed to download couldn't be restored because I messed up (and I don't know what they are anymore). I'm happy I'll at least have this video for comfort. Thank you!

Has this been posted yet? I feel like I've already seen it, but my brain is lying to myself these days like I'm seeing mirages in the desert and I can't ever catch up to it. Weibo vid. Yuzu's interview I guess it covers Tokyo Olympics? So its the video they recorded where we got the behind-the-scenes on instagram first. http://t.cn/RnXz9a7?m=4220427138148391&u=5102460475

I'm looking for the NHK 2015 gala from this angle - maybe it's Japanese broadcast? Because I found the gala in another angle. Does someone have the video or a link?

At least once a day I rewatch Seimei at Olys. It's not a plan or scheduled; rather, I just miss Yuzu and fill the void with his last competitive skated program. But I still end up getting choked up and teary-eyed everytime. Is it just me? I'm happy Yuzu got his second gold, but more than anything I just love Seimei so much (H&L too) and it's sooooo hard to let go. My love for it and sadness overwhelms me. A year ago I didn't think skating would make me feel so much. How do I let go?

Question - isn't WTT supposed to happen the upcoming season too? So aside from worlds being in Japan, there will be a consecutive competition in Japan just a few weeks after?
-
Am actually so envious of you.
-
Random thought If anything, I hope he brings back that split spiral transition/move in Seimei that he introduced, and put into his new programs, and make it better and hold it just a bit longer.
-
Yuzu is such a ninja lmfao. And then you have people casually saying they saw him randomly. I thought he would spend more time in Japan but I'm kind of glad he's back in Toronto. I do wonder if he finds being in Japan (being the star that he is) kind of suffocating since more people recognize him. I think some fans on here thought that he would take that ANA family trip during his rehab so now I wonder if they did before he returned to Toronto. If he can't do choreo, I wonder if Yuzu's catching up on movies or anime during his downtime to find inspiration for music or if he's researching music. Or maybe he already found it a while ago. I'll forever cry over the conclusion of competitive Seimei but the possibilities of new programs excite me.

I love it. I have a thing for these official opening/endings from the Japanese stations. So dramatic. Watching this, gosh, its been such a long season and although I miss Hanyu so much I'm glad it's ending. This is my first FS season and in April will be a full year since I became a Hanyu fan. It's really been a long year. I'm weirdly burned out. Also that the MAD closes with lots of Hanyu means a lot to me even though he's in ninja mode and recovering and barely had any competitions and didn't do worlds.

OMG! YES! THANK YOU!!

What does it say? Also didn't know there's an official twitter account for the show. Wonder if Yuzu checks up in it. He seems to have a lot of leverage on this show (of course). I do hope Yuzu is also given a lot of power to make the show because I'd like to see what he comes up with or the topics he talks about.

I can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone have a link to the video of team Japan's interview post WTT 2015, the one with Mura, Satoko, Yuzu and Kanako? They were being interviewed by Nobu and Matsuoka in a room I believe and I think at one point they teased Kanoko about her hairstyle.

I wish they would sell and ship the t-shirts internationally. I won't be in Sendai, but I'd like to buy a t-shirt to help towards the parade and celebrations. Yes, I'd even pay for shipping for a t-shirt.
-
So cute! I can see this happening. He's gotten better from Sochi but his embarrassment and blushing does still show through sometimes (like swan 2017 WC gala).
-
Lol, but I'm not against this idea either. His interactions with the audience and getting them to scream for LGC is a wonder. I'm sure it'd be even more amazing with something proper. Reminds me of that gif of him bowing at the end of his programs as if he's conducting the audience rather than just bowing.
-
I'm all for Yuzu doing a fun EX again, but if he wants to do serious I'm all in for a fan dance to a Japanese song. His playfulness with it during Olys gala made me really want it. Would prefer it as a competitive program but don't think they allow objects like folding fans as part of the program.
-
The sample size is small, but it's nice to know Yuzu has a positive image - coming across as smart being one of them (not that he isn't, he totally exudes in his speech and answers, but how the public view somebody can totally be out of the individual's control sometimes). That Samantha brand that bought his boots are savvy - they managed to donate to charity and also associate themselves with Yuzu without having to sponsor him.
-
If that's so then people running the Olympics channel are inept. Social media is all about timeliness and relevancy. That's not how you get engagement and views. They should spend some more time actually researching each Olympic sport and keeping the channel active by uploading educational videos without amateur mistakes in them.

Angry this tweet is still there and some people even agreed or thought it was funny. Bet if Hanyu was American this would have blown up.
-
I'll be honest, I'm really pissed about the auction and the trolls and its enough to ruin my mood. Like, you hate him that much to mess with a charity? Skewed priorities, these people are not human. Hanyu would probably be most disappointed, and worse is that some media have already covered this and not everyone will get the full story and it's just awful all around especially with the remembrance of 3.11 so close.

There is already a Japanese skater at TCC, who also happens to be a Yuzu fan and from Sendai, I believe. What's more, if its just friendship-wise we must look beyond the top skaters and remember that Yuzu is capable of befriending anyone around him. I think no one needs to go to TCC for Yuzu to make friends or get a more interesting social life because what he has now its mostly his decision. If its just being friends, its not an exclusive club of elites and even if they're not famous or at the same skill level, there are great people already there enough for that. Prior to this season, when we were all bright-eyed and eager, someone (Shae?) let slip that Yuzu was practicing the hydroblade and a few of the other students got curious and they all had fun learning it together. Javi isn't the only skater there that Yuzu have been seeing and interacting with for 5-6 years. So if Yuzu doesn't personally connect to anyone publicly and openly (pretty sure there are interactions we don't see), remember he is the senpai and a very social person when he wants to be, after all. He also gets along very well with CJH who is also at TCC. But they don't share a main coach. Anyone who goes to TCC after this season might not share a main coach as well. Outside friendship, if he doesn't have someone of the same level to accompany his training like Javi, I think it's a good time for Yuzu to adjust again as he's done it before when he first went to Toronto. And while I want some of my favorite skaters to go to TCC, I think it's important to remember that the world doesn't revolve around Yuzu no matter how special he is. I believe TCC can make Zagi and Wakaba better skaters and it's a good environment, and that's a good enough reason that has nothing to do with him.
