I wish people would stop panicking, because that sometimes feels like additional pressure that at some point will get directed towards him. There's not a whole lot we can do other than just trust him and his training. He's not stupid, far from it actually. I'm sure his coaching team is aware of everything and will try their best to prepare, and they do know how to manage PR since they've been doing this since Yuna's time. Have some faith in him, he's been pretty good throughout the past...7 years anyways. =)

I am not sure whether or not I love you or hate you for it, but after writing that harem bit, I could actually visually imagine how each quad would look like, which Chinese historical era they would belong to, and at times even which empress/lady they should resemble, whether fictional or historical. And since they are all Yuzu's quads, they all are female versions of Yuzu...so thanks, but not really, for giving me very scary images of what Yuzu would look like, as a woman, in various Chinese historical garb.

Well I do not think that is why. He probably just loves it the way he loves chopin and seimei. And being extra, he probably also considered how it balances out the intensity of his SP and LP, plus no one can doubt his artistry afterwards since that is what notte stellata is all about. Like chopun, seimei, notte deserves a spotlight at olys. But if he did get inspired or confirmation due to the feral swans hydroblade made, well, guess we can all die/cry due to happiness.

My eyebrows rose to my hairline when he just...forgot 3 other men, not to mention new comers like Vincent Zhou, and outright dismissal of younger ones like Cha Jun Hwa. I like Mikhail too, but he's not exactly safe now, is he? As for why...well, Averbukh's not hankering for a trial run as Yuzu's choreographer right? As for the Ice Talk with Janny-have to give mad props to her, Oly year and 3 new programs, well 4 actually if you want to count FaOI Anna Karenina and Competitive Anna as 2 separate programs. Who else has the energy and mental stamina to do that? I'm wondering if she's going to skate to the OP History Maker.

Yuzu is almost there, but he starts his 4Lz a bit earlier than Boyang I think. These photos from CoR don't have many markers so it's harder for me to eyeball the distance. T_T

I actually try to eyeball the distance by using visual markers in the arenas. So Yuzu's 4Lz being around 3 meters distance is something I find believable, simply because he took off in the area around the hockey goalie region, and cleared quite a bit of ice in that region. Boyang though, I have to give the biggest 4Lz award to him. He nearly ran into the boards.

I feel strangely hungry at midnight after reading that...evil. @Murieleirum: You are not helping either, I love Italian! Hmm...well he can't visit my city without trying heavier spicy food. It's super flavorful. So other than drag him around for hotpot, because Yuzu would probably die, I'd probably make dumplings (zhong shui jiao) which are in a mildly spicy and sweet sauce, dan dan noodles (not spicy at all), and probably some braised pork (hong shao), and sweet and sour spare ribs. Lotus root soup, and probably yin'er soup (it's a type of fungus, usually made as a sweet soup). Most of our vegetables are lightly stir-fried, so I think that's okay, and we can toss in some chicken broth marinated chinese cabbage. As for light and refreshing, hmm probably some bing feng (a type of dessert we have in summer) which is usually made with dried raisins, and a light brown sugar syrup. =) As for tourism, well he's in the hometown of the pandas, so a trip to see the actual pandas is a must. I'd be happy to donate the money too so he can gear up and hold a young panda for a photo-op, assuming they still do that at the reserve. Then probably a trip to Dufu thatched cottage and Qin Yang Monestary (one of the oldest ones in the city), maybe a trip to Wu Hou Ci, so he can go admire Zhu Ge Liang from the three kingdoms period, since he's so brainy and everything. Day 2, probably take a 2 day trip to Du Jiang Yan, and see the dam that was built back in around 250 BC, then go to QingCheng mountains, which is a key taoist site, climb up to the top of the mountain, stay overnight and catch the sunrise, before going back down. If he visits during September, the area will be pretty with changing leaves. And the air is good so hopefully it won't affect his asthma. As for Averbukh...is he trying to get Yuzu to try him out as a choreographer? o_O Don't fall for that trap Zuzu!

I think in the main thread they had a video of the 4lz which showed it from the rear, and it actually tilted to his left side, so he had to jerk it harshly to the right to land it. Did not see this in the practice ones. Now I am curious how long his jump rotations were delayed in practice, and if that delay would affect his vertical forward tilt in the air. You think he is at risk of hitting the boards?

It was a fancam, so they might not have gotten all the frames they prefer, but it seems legit. Yuzu was far less tilted in the practice jump, and damn that distance....for a first attempt, it is stellar. Can you imagine what it will be like when it stabilizes for him?

Well, our lord Yuzuru did not release any divine inspirations today, so the ladies are quiet. Empress 3A is working on embroidery, Lady 4T is instructing a crew on knitting gold scarves, Lady 4S is fixing the bonsai gardens, Lady 4Lo is working on her koto skills, and Lady 4Lz was told to help with recent court layout details so she's working on that with the chancellors... Um, though to amuse us, since a lot of us cook, bake etc, if you could cook Yuzu a meal, what would you make for him? IF Yuzuru got three days to visit your city, and you got to be his tour guide, where would you take him and why?

Benoit Richaud? We might need a slightly more offbeat choerographer for him. But if Boyang goes with east asian music, I would prolly back Kenji Miyamoto to do it. Though, I think it helps if the long term choerographer he works with can view his SS progress throughout the years. That Shae and Jeff are close to him is something that really benefits Yuzu. Boyang does not have that yet sadly.

over the top charm, but the recent interviews show that Boyang is starting to get serious, and that he is more subtle than Morozov would allow. TAT might work for him more than Morozov, or even Rohene Ward could work.
