  1. Oh wow, I hadn't seen this version. I love this original headbanging move where he just looks up. So striking. Very happy the biellmann timing was changed. 2012 Worlds was perfect and the biellmann somehow looks like those voices. 10/10 would biellmann again.
  2. (Friggin' so hungies for noodles right now. >_<) BAM! POW! (We are trapped forever. ) source
  3. The most perfect fall of all time. Deserves to be part of the choreography.
  4. There's still not enough achy aching in natsukashii for this situation (it's my most favouritest word because I refuse to live in the moment but my emotions!)
  5. Is there a word for painful nostalgia? I feel like there must be but I can't think of it. Ugh, too many emotions. The drama surrounding 2012 Worlds alone is worthy of a movie. He is an incredible character with a perfect story. And it's not even over!
  6. It's the innocence, passion, and recklessness of youth, for sure. I got that same feeling so strongly after watching 24hr Ienai yo. He's unbelievably wonderful now but that skinny little kid who flailed his heart and soul about all over the ice was so endearing. If I ever have kids I am pumping them full of anti-growth hormones, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Brunch also, just to be safe.
  7. Guns don't kill people, sparkles kill people?
  8. Great Romeo or the greatest Romeo? There are wrong answers. A place to wax lyrical and soliloquize about tiny Romeo #1. Ok, GO!
  9. I don't like to idolise people to this extent but I can't help but feel the same when I listen to or read his interviews. It's impossible to fight it. His words are so touching. Yes, we do deeply cherish your performances.
  10. Absolutely. When I first saw it I could feel the genuine emotion of someone who had witnessed something terribly catastrophic and though I knew about Yuzu, I thought it must have been choreographed by someone who understands those experiences, too. I didn't just see sadness and dispair in that program but anger and denial, too. Sure enough when I looked it up I found Miyamoto had some experience with the Kobe earthquake, though I wish I knew more. I'm far away in another country but I followed every minute of that disaster and nuclear catastrophe every day for years and years and it completely changed me and my view of the world. I remember going through all those emotions myself and I can't imagine how intense it must feel up close. I'd like to be clearer but I'm battling with a very broken phone that wants to type words I'm not typing. The title alone is so devastating.
  11. For me there's no comparison. Requiem is superior in every way. This one is so lovely. I really love Japan Nationals, as well. Heck, I love them all. I wonder if I'd love Skate Canada and Worlds but the cameramen decided we didn't need to see his hands.
  12. I love the Requiem hydroblades the best, too. Each one is slightly different but all are exquisite and fit the music perfectly. That program is unbelievable. Brb watching all day.
  13. Poor Team Japan. In other news, Fuku-kun is the best kid of all the kids of all. time. Skating link - he starred in a TV show and movie with Miyu Honda called Kodomo Keisatsu (Kids Police) and you all need to watch it.
  14. "A wild departure from his usual diet of salted kuyashii."
  15. I heard. I guess it was probably something like "Hanyu eats sandwich!" if they're just going to leave it cancelled. Boooo!
  16. Did anything come of that exclusive news that TV station promised? Did they reschedule it?
  17. Oh lord, I'm so embarrassed. But Nobu makes the pain go away. I often wonder what Nobunaga would have dome if he knew how dorky and sparkly his descendant would be.
  18. Your face out-ridiculoused that bib. Well done!
  19. And I want to see my happy face see his happy face.
  20. Moar and making of. So cute. https://ameblo.jp/ayadan1223/entry-12113399433.html
  21. I was wondering why he was having trouble with his 3a landings in his exhibition this season. We only got to see those beautiful twizzles out of it once or twice. Is there a reason it would only affect galas, though? My eyes are still babies about this but I rewatched the Ienai yo 3a in slow-mo and I think I see what you mean. Instead of a symmetrical arc the angle is forced down at the end by the landing leg?
