How dare they!? To be honest, I loved the outfit so much because it was such a Prince outfit and it fit so well with the music and the rockstar persona. The purple more than the white, too, even though white was what Prince actually wore on the inspiration for this costume.

I do remember Uncle Kurt and Carol Lane commenting they didn't think the program fit Yuzu before GPF but GPF changed their mind.

I loved LGC from the beginning but that was because my first time seeing it was GPF 2016 and that was magical.

The 4T3T in the second half gives him 51.01 BV compared to LGC's 49.75 with the 4S3T. The difference between a 4T and a 4S is just 0.20 BV but if you backload both your 3A and your quad combo... it's significant.

He needs to skate his SP clean-ish and put himself in the Top 3 going into the FS, without major points margins a la 4CC/Worlds/WTT. Chopin gives him better odds of that. Plus no need to rework it too much in order to get that combo into the second half.

He's also said he'd like to land the 4A, yes, but not necessarily in competition. Of course, this doesn't preclude him trying it in competition after all but his intentions regarding the 4A aren't as clear cut as that.

With ISU lowering quad BV for the season next to this, it might not be worth it for anyone to train a 4A anyway, considering the risk/reward.
