  1. I think he also already pretty much decided the costume for the versions of Seimei back in 2015, too?
  2. And there's more coming, I think! New Nathan article where he expresses his wish to actually continue post PC. I know earlier he thought about retiring post-Olympics for college but he seems to have changed his mind since.
  3. Info on Yuzu's Seimei costume from recent newspaper. Anyone wanna give the gist of it?
  4. Good heavens, the USA machine is working their asses off with publicity. A cereal box too! How many sponsorships has Nathan gotten by now?
  5. Morozombie opines on Rostelecom: http://morozombie.blogspot.pt/2017/10/recap-2017-rostelecom-cup-men-ladies.html Here's the part referring to Yuzu. What he says about others is also pretty on point.
  6. This field... I have no idea. Here's hoping I don't jinx anyone.
  7. According to this article, and as translated by @yude at GS, Marin will go to China directly and have 3 days off training for treatment, and planning to be on ice in official practice on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday.
  8. I think if I had to choose, I prefer Kaori's green dress from FaOI than the one she is wearing now. Neither is a dress I like per se but at least the one she used in the shows had a better shade of green and more detail.
  9. Please don't do many landings like this in the future, Yuzu. I'd like you to keep your knees. And me my sanity.
  10. Sorry, I slept super badly this night, I probably didn't read properly. I'm half catching up on stuff and half preparing to leave. After SC, though, I don't even want to update my GOE table for Patrick...
  11. I think overrall, yes, but this season Shoma's Lombardia FS GOEs are still ahead, though surprisingly Nathan and Yuzu's faulty FS at COR still scored around 13 GOE too, despite the much lower BV. Also surprisingly, if Shoma sticks with the 4S, Yuzu will have higher FS BV than he does. Actually, he'd have the second highest BV after Nathan's 5-6 quads. Of course, higher BV doesn't mean anything if you can't, you know, not pop stuff. Work on that, Zuzu. Edit: I see Pomeloh already said something similar.
  12. Skate Canada is cancelled!! My predictions........ Thank God dance was predictable enough.
  13. Landing a couple of 4As in the off-season does not mean it is a 'secret weapon' that he can add to a program as a YOLO jump. I'm not even sure anymore if people are actually taking ideas about 4A this season seriously or not but please don't.
  14. Misha fessed up and posted the Trio picture. As if he wouldn't.
  15. Yes, we also hope he'll be there in 2018, SC.
  16. Thanks, it was more or less what I thought those things meant but I wanted to confirm because sometimes english is tricky.
  17. This is an interesting analysis. I wonder if the reduced crossovers (which I guess is very visible in the second half with how packed the elements are together) is what's making those two 4Ts more difficult to land right now. I'm sure he'll get them done. He already managed to only pop 1 instead of both at Rostelecom AND hit the 3As. I'm confused about what he means by revolutions by spinning and why a lower number is better? As well as what rotations by skating means here.
  18. If anyone's interested, I posted this at the predictions thread but I'm bringing it here too. I made a Ladies BV and SB table. I've updated it since the version I posted earlier, adding Anna Pogo, because stupidly I didn't add her before, as well as updated Marin's SP BV to the one she attempted at practice in SC. I will update it as necessary.
  19. Oh yeah. Nevermind, I am terrible with timezones. But 3h is still a much better change than USA to Asia or Europe times.
  20. He said before leaving for Canada a week ago that he was going to replace the 4S for a 3Lo without explanation, I think. I thought he was just going safe because it's Canada and he wants to be clean (and 4S might be an unstable element at this point) but I saw on twitter that the BV reduction may also be related to new boots. If Shoma is removing the 4S, then he'll be doing 4 quads instead of 5 (so he can keep his 2x 3As). Still a big BV advantage over Patrick, especially combined with 2 quads in the SP.
  21. Patrick will probably do the same layouts he did in 2015-2016 (1 4T in the SP, 2x 4T and 2x 3A in the FS). Shoma will also drop the 4S and do a 3Lo, I believe, instead of it. Shoma is going with a BV advantage, though, since he'll still be doing 4 quads (4Lo // 4F 2x 4T) and Patrick might need to be very clean in both programs, since Shoma's BV allows him for a bit of a mistake cushion.
  22. Speaking of 4CC, next season's will be in Anaheim, California. I feel like it's very likely Yuzu might go there, now that he's (hopefully) staying after PC. He doesn't even have to change continents and timezones to attend it! He might want to go for that elusive 4CC medal.
  23. Adding to the above analysis. At this point, as you can see, Yuzu's less than stellar ACI FS has lowered his averages quite a lot, especially in terms of BV. Surprisingly, though, his Rostelecom FS, despite the low BV with 2 pops, a missed combo and the darned 4S landing, garnered almost as much GOE as Shoma's FS at Lombardia. So did Nathan's FS at US Classic, actually! If you count JO, Javi seems to be in an upward trend in his FS. Nathan also has an upward trend if you count both his official competitions (he's also increasing his BV with each competition), though slightly less so if you count JO. Shoma didn't do so well at JO but if you only count his one Challenger, he's definitely winning the race at the moment. Patrick and Shoma will be competing this week at SC so we shall see how they'll do!
  24. They're sadly unforgettable.
