  1. I'm more afraid to have jinxed Satton. Or Yuzu. But crossing all my fingers for my babies.
  2. What about Voronov? He could challenge for a podium place too.
  3. Iron Klaus is super pessimistic about Yuzu winning at PC so I feel like they're being quite gloom with their quotes of choice. Even if it's a true sentiment.
  4. Tell me what you did to win so soundly. You kept Javi from the podium, didn't you, you monster?
  5. But as I said, there's different levels of GOE/PCS applied when clean; it'll depend on a lot of factors, the main ones being that he skates both programs clean at the Olympics, after gaining momentum, skating last in the FS, when the judges will be more prone to +3s and 10s. These circumstances could make him break 350. Otherwise, I fairly doubt he'll reach that even if clean. 340-345 is more realistic. But he needs to, ya know, not pop things..... Edit: After the scoring changes for the 2018-2019 season, with the new GOE range and proposed lowering of jump BV, plus cutting one jumping pass from the FS, it might become impossible to reach that kind of ceiling. New ceilings will then have to be established.
  6. He has the potential for a 340+ total score, but it depends a lot on GOE and PCS. Clean Yuzu can still vary in GOE/PCS between the somewhat underscored Worlds H&L to a 'judges were on a GPF 2015 high' Seimei.
  7. Oh good to know I'm only 1 point away from Bronze. Let's see how NHK shapes out. I'm scared. Please be good, NHK, I beg you.
  8. Speaking of choreographic sequences, there's a video of them here: I am again reminded how much I love Seimei's choreo sequence and how effective those long spreadeagles are in Vincent's.
  9. @Xen I've been including some of the new men (Mikhail and Vincent) in my GOE averages spreadsheet but that's just for protocol data. I still need to start doing the jump success rate tables for them too. Not sure if that's what you meant, though. Anyone else whose stats you'd like me to include? @CupidsBow's sheet is so much better, by the way. @fireovertheice Yuzu's time in 1ft skating in his Step Sequence seems to be lower than others in that table. Is this because his Step Sequence is also shorter in length? Edit: Actually, might I suggest adding to the table the time length of those step and choreo sequences for easier comparative reading?
  10. These are not nearly as much fun as the rainbow disasters at Sochi but I assume there'll be outerwear. Also, that height!
  11. Awww Yuzu. He's so hopeless. And awkward. I'm glad I stan him for his skating, not his ability to make cocoa. The red sweater photos are A++++, though.
  12. Well, they also say in that summary I posted that Yuzuru is going to try and defend his title at the Olympics as the reigning World and GPF champion... when the GPF hasn't happened yet.
  13. The IOC highlights Yuzuru in a new article. SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR SERIAL RECORD-BREAKER HANYU https://www.olympic.org/news/sky-is-the-limit-for-serial-record-breaker-hanyu
  14. I feel like I've seen this picture before. Is this recent?
  15. Rika does a 4S here! At about 0.42s. Don't know how recent that was, though.
  16. That new video of open media day... did he even land a proper 4Lz on it? I saw a very low knee landing, a pop and a turnout. And then a lot of falls in his runthrough. The first footage we got back in August really did cut and edit to make him look good.
  17. Yeah, this is happening to me too, on Chrome. And I can't submit a post in the COC practice thread for some reason (I was going to post the results table but now I may have to redo it from scratch if I can't post what I have).
  18. Oh that TCC pop solidarity hits even the young.
  19. Rika's TES with one UR, a pop and without a choreographic sequence....
  20. I hope so. If Brian can't, Tracy is the best alternative option.
  21. The thing about Mikhail's 4Lz is that when everything aligns he has so much height he can check out with a lot of control to land it cleanly (when he lands it). If you notice, he seems to open rotation before he lands (so his knee bend is a bit less than Yuzu's who checks out a bit lower). He gives the feeling he could tack another rotation there. Almost.
